You refupeas have convinced me. I'd been a little reluctant due to the cost of the meat. And my never having cooked ribs, ever.
But here I go. Hoping to have a glowing recommendation tomorrow night!
I love ribs. And I'm planning on serving twice baked potatoes and salad.

I've only made ribs once and it was in the crockpot. I didn't care for the rub that I used (it had cinnamon and too much of it) but the ribs were so tender and juicy. I think that is the only way I would ever make them. I am not a rib person but they were good. And sooooo easy.

I put my ribs in the crock pot without the BBQ sauce (just a little water). When they are tender, I put them in a pan, add sauce and broil until they look ready.

Add sherry or white wine instead of water. Or apples.
Use the liquid the baste the ribs when they are done
