Two weeks ago it was HL, this week it was M's. Is anyone else's stores carrying way more 8.5x11 cs than 12x12? I'm not all that observant, so if I noticed, this is a significant difference. Are more people doing 8.5 these days?

I've noticed that too. Simon Say's brand, more SU, PTI etc. But I think its more geared towards card makers and or for project life.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed. I thought that might be the case, but find it odd that the rest of the scrappy supply sections are still the same, it's only the 12x12 cs that seems to have diminished. Who knows . . .

I prefer 12x12 for project life since there's no waste.

So do I. And to me, that makes complete sense - so I really don't get why my stores have way more 8.5x11 than 12x12. Still a mystery . . .

Maybe 12x12 cardstock is not selling as well as it used to. I see mostly 12x12 layouts on pattered paper everywhere I look for inspiration. I personally, only use white, kraft, or patterned paper (c/s weight) for layouts.

I don't know but as an 8.5x11" scrapper for 12.5 years and counting - it's a change I'm pleased with

I don't know but as an 8.5x11" scrapper for 12.5 years and counting - it's a change I'm pleased with Murphy's Law for me - I've been scrapping 8.5x11 for years and couldn't always find my size cs. Now, I am switching over to 12x12 as we speak and well . . . . Maybe 12x12 cardstock is not selling as well as it used to. I see mostly 12x12 layouts on pattered paper everywhere I look for inspiration. I personally, only use white, kraft, or patterned paper (c/s weight) for layouts. You're probably right and I'm up a creek. I use solid colored cs a lot as a background. Good thing I've built up quite a stash, lol.
