Daniel Dale....
”Trump has added a 3:30 PM golf club “news conference” to his schedule for today, which also includes two fundraisers in the Hamptons, one at Donald Trump Jr.’s house and one at billionaire John Paulson’s house.”
Pete Souza....
”Many people say trump is announcing his running mate at today's news conference. My bet is on Mike Pence or Nikki Haley.”
Wouldn’t be something if trump dumps Pence to replace him with a woman to match Biden’s VP pick of a woman.

"Press conference" happening in Bedminster.... Podium and table set up with chair, they are saying he will sign a partial Executive Order about the coronavirus..... Did't give the negotiators much time to try again since last night! To include payroll tax (doesn't help if people are not working and makes long term cuts to social security), UI benefits, eviction moratorium... Other than payroll tax, the democrats passed most of this in the bill months ago!!
(It will take them years to gather up all his copies of the Presidential Seal!)

Today: BEDMINSTER, N.J. (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Friday he would be working over the next couple of weeks on an executive order to require health insurers to cover pre-existing conditions. Insurance companies were prohibited from denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions under the Affordable Care Act passed under former President Barack Obama, known as Obamacare, which the Trump administration has tried to scrap. "Over the next two weeks I'll be pursuing a major executive order requiring health insurance companies to cover all pre-existing conditions for all customers," Trump said at a news conference at his golf property in Bedminster, New Jersey. ** www.aol.com/article/news/2020/08/08/trump-working-health-insurance-executive-order-pre-existing-conditions/24586494/No problem, but what is it going to cost! Going to sign Veterans bills.... Choice never been signed before? Expand services for blind veterans if they are blind in both eyes.... (What were we doing before?) Treatment court for veterans who have NOT committed a violent crime... Rather then punishment.

IF he is reelected Payroll tax will NOT hav to be repaid.... UI enhancement $400, but states will have to contribute toward it!
He just stated that next year he will permanently STOP the payroll taxes........... Guess that proves Social Security and Medicare will be gone!!
If Biden is elected he will RAISE all these taxes!!

I guess he will have to do some bribing because this won't make the insurance people happy at all.

Thanks Mr Dejoy.............
It has been reported that Louis DeJoy, the current Postmaster General under the Donald Trump administration, has floated a proposal to increase the price of postage for mail-in ballots from 20 cents to 55 cents. This is important not only because of the financial impact the increase could have on states and their voters, but also because it calls attention to the proposed spike in postage as a potentially unconstitutional poll tax.
That nearly triples the per-ballot cost at a time when tens of millions more will be delivered. The rate change would have to go through the Postal Regulatory Commission and, undoubtedly, litigation. But the time frame for that is incredibly short, as ballots go out very soon. [emphasis added]

Nothing like pissing off your BIG time donors!!! President Trump reportedly clashed with GOP megadonor Sheldon Adelson during a phone call last week, according to Politico. The casino magnate contacted the president to discuss coronavirus relief legislation and the economy. However, the president directed the conversation to his campaign and asked Adelson why he wasn’t doing more to support his reelection, the outlet reported, citing three people with direct knowledge of the call. Adelson and his wife donated $10 million to a super PAC supporting Trump in 2018, and they have each given nearly $600,000 during this cycle, The New York Times reported. The Times first reported Trump’s call with Adelson. After the interaction, Republican Party officials sought to contact the megadonor and smooth things over with the 87-year-old businessman, according to Politico. ** thehill.com/homenews/news/511193-trump-got-into-testy-exchange-with-top-gop-donor-adelson-report

Wait? What? dt is writing new healthcare coverage?!?!?!? Did anyone hear this part?!?!?!?! Try this......... What kind of health plan is tis? BEDMINSTER, N.J. (Reuters) - President Donald Trump said on Friday he would be working over the next couple of weeks on an executive order to require health insurers to cover pre-existing conditions.Insurance companies were prohibited from denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions under the Affordable Care Act passed under former President Barack Obama, known as Obamacare, which the Trump administration has tried to scrap. Trump has criticized the cost and coverage under Obamacare and has been promising since his 2016 campaign to replace it with a better plan. His administration asked the Supreme Court in June to invalidate the Obamacare law. Biden has condemned Trump for fighting to gut Obamacare, accusing him of threatening healthcare protections for millions of Americans in the midst of a raging pandemic. ** www.aol.com/article/news/2020/08/08/trump-working-health-insurance-executive-order-pre-existing-conditions/24586494/

”The Republican position on Covid 19 is 1) Raid the social security trust fund 2) Defund the Post Office, schools and hospitals 3) Federalism 4) Attack experts and expertise 5) Blame China 6) Fully expensed three martini lunches 7) the F35”
It seems the Republicans/White House put money in the stimulus plan being “negotiated “ for F35 Jets for the military. Along with money for a new FBI building.
Meanwhile the Democrats are looking for money for a states and cities hard hit by the cost of fighting the virus so services and employees won’t be cut. Looking for money to ensure we have a safe election.

Very interesting............. Trump's $400 weekly boost to unemployment insurance won't increase benefits for jobless Americans anytime soonJoseph Zeballos-Roig Aug 8, 2020, 9:39 PM Analysis: *President Donald Trump signed an executive action on Saturday to enact a $400 weekly boost to state unemployment benefits, a sizable cut from the $600 level it once was during the coronavirus pandemic. *But a closer look at the text of the order reveals the administration is actually setting up a "lost wages assistance" program. *"This is outside the UI system entirely," said Michele Evermore, a national unemployment expert, adding it could take months for overwhelmed states to design if it ever gets off the ground. *Governors are being ordered to work with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in order to set up the benefit system, and distribute benefits alongside existing state systems. ** Among them was a $400 federal supplement to state unemployment insurance through December 6. Trump claimed the relief would reach Americans in a "very rapid" manner, but neglected to say how. ** But a closer reading of the memorandum reveals that the Trump administration is attempting to set up a "lost wages assistance" program outside of the traditional unemployment system. ** "States have to follow federal law to pay unemployment insurance benefits," Michele Evermore, a prominent unemployment expert at the National Employment Law Project, told Business Insider on Saturday. "[The administration] can't call it unemployment insurance since it's a whole other program." "This is outside the UI system entirely," Evermore said, adding "this will be difficult" for states to carry out, since state agencies are still overwhelmed with a massive backlog of claims. She estimated it could take "months." ** Getting an entirely new benefit program up and running would delay aid to unemployed Americans struggling to make ends meet. Nearly 31 million Americans are on unemployment, drawing state benefits averaging $330 a week nationwide. ** www.businessinsider.com/when-will-americans-get-trump-unemployment-benefits-400-dollars-2020-8

trump means that more kids are going hungry (no school meals), more suicides--lost of access to mental health, and more child abuse--lack of observation by teachers. it is dubios.. not to say some of this doesn't happen (many schools are still getting meals to families.. make the health system better so you don't get mental health care through schools).. but it is trumps excuse and his dismissal of covid fears with teaching in person. schools rarely provide any actual mental health help. Sure you can talk to a school counselor but they aren’t going to ‘treat’ your child’s issue. Here your kid will see a counselor and come home with a list of professionals nearby that they give you to ‘get you started’ on a search for a health professional. Do other places actually address mental health issues in school for real, for free? Many of our local schools have a partnership with local mental health providers and have a licensed counselor from the MH agency in the school. With parental permission, kids can see the counselor. It’s a poor, rural area — transportation is a major issue for many families to access care, among other things. So yes, at least some kids are getting mental health care through the physical school site. The schools and MH agencies have pivoted to processing at home sessions for most of these kids. Many of the MH agencies already had at home programs so just had to strengthen them.

”Pissed off about schools? Blame Trump.
Pissed off about college football? Blame Trump.
Pissed off about 165,000 dead? Blame Trump.
Pissed off about an economy still on its back? Blame Trump.
He didn’t listen, didn’t prepare, didn’t lead. He lied. He fucked up. Blame him.”
