Crate Paper - anyone else see this?

I could swear I've seen that same stuff at Tuesday Morning stores already... maybe not, though- they all start to look the same to me after a while.  But to have pre-order? For something that was already released last year?  that IS odd.

Maybe they're thinking people won't notice it's a "re" release, or they don't want the hassle of working with the factory for putting together a new collection, during the pandemic?   I'm *trying* to think of valid reasons why they would re-release last year's line instead of putting out a new line.

Scrapbook.com also lists it as new.

I saw another scrapbook line the other day (and posted about it) from last fall on scrapbook.com. Half the line was listed as new and the other half was on clearance... Fancy Pants Good Ol' Days.

Weird things are afoot at the Circle K, I mean in the scrapbook world.

This is exactly what I thought too.  I looked at some TM stuff and it wasn't Hello Pumpkin.  Very similar though.

Oh, I like that one. And I’m not big on Halloween scrapbooking stuff. I just don’t have enough photos to use so much of it.

I would love to see a holiday re-release of Merry Days, Snow and Cocoa or Fa La La (or, dare I say, all three?)

Hello Pumpkin was a big success but the AC brands don't put out Halloween collections yearly. It just happened to be CP's turn last year. I see why they would re-release it since their usual schedule doesn't have CP up for a new Halloween collection this year.

However, I'd have loved seeing a little bit of variation on the same collection, a Hello Pumpkin volume 2 perhaps. Even just reversing some colour patterns on the same papers, switching from cream-based to white, changing up the icons in the die-cut set/stickers. No doubt it'll sell really well all over again. Autumn this year will likely be another season of SIP/lockdown orders with coronavirus infection spikes over Europe and North America so I expect that the crafters will want to indulge in some cuteness escapism.

Maybe they chose to re-release that line instead of designing a new one is because the chances of a normal Halloween this year is almost nonexistent due to the pandemic.
