They can be challenges to create a particular project--say a page, or a card, or a piece of wall art,--Use a particular colour or material or technique or texture, use particular number or size of photos on a page, particular fonts, letters, or images, start or finish a project, or... Make it a challenge that will keep YOU excited about scrapping, maybe something that will get you going to actually FINISH that little mini album. POINTSEarn one point for your team each time you: *set a challenge *create something no matter the size. *share a photo or scan of that creation with us. Then you can choose to score points by either of these counting systems. And you don't have to stick to one system, so you can use one system for one creation and the other for another. We don't want to spend all our time doing MATH, so do what is easiest for you. OLD SCHOOL *meet ANY of the challenges. You can claim points for every challenge your creation meets, PLUS any bonus points offered up by that challenge. No limit to how many challenges you meet with one creation. And you can use any of the challenges for points any number of creations during the month! OK so I failed miserably on the scrapbooking front, but I did sew 50 masks and was told they could, but I don't really know how to count those.. so ... yep! I did set two challenges so I get 2 points there I think...

Back to Joyful for July... saving a spot Ren claiming a spot here just gives you a place to record your points as you go, if that makes it easier for you. Just come back and edit your post during the month to make notes for yourself (or not, if you don’t want to). Some people document each challenge and the points here, some people (like me) make vague notes about the projects they’ve shared and calculate at the end of the month (I do easy peasy counting), some people don’t bother at all. There’s usually a printable and a spreadsheet version posted of all the challenges after the 3rd or 4th of the month so it might be easier to keep records on paper. There’s also a chat thread that Joyfulnana will tag you in where we can chat about life or projects and you can ask the team for help with anything. But you’re also welcome to chat with me on IG! |

Confused! - this thread is a place to post your points for the team challenges if keeping track as you go is easier for you. There's not a right way to do it. Some people claim a spot and never come back to it - they keep track of their points offline and just give the total to the team leader on August 1st. Some people post their projects in list form to remind them when they go to add up points. Some people keep a running total of points. Some people (me ) use the space to add up their points as they go along. |

My spot. Points to date: 1123.Set 9 challenges (9). july 1st to 4th: 2 cards (34) and five pages (107)
July 5th to 24th: 11 cards (184) and 11 pages (221). Total: 405.
July 25th to 31st: sixteen pages (392) and one card (17). Total: 409.
For the month, 31 pages scrapped for Donna Challenge (155), and four LO's shared for Pokey Peas (4). Total: 159.

You can count your points either way: old school or easy peasy, both explained in the Rules thread and on the One Stop Crop printable sheet. If you like a spreadsheet, you can use the one gramma provided with the one stop crop thread. That will add your points as you enter them. Or you can add your points as you go in a post or on paper then list them here, either project by project or in groups, by title of project, or date, or whatever you prefer. I list the points under each share in the sharing thread, and then periodically add them up and enter them in this thread with a running total. |

I made a bunch of Queen and Company cards/projects and did the 12x12 layouts from the Queen for a Day class.
Using the easy peasy method, I’m at 340 for July.

- you get points for the amount of time you spent working on them, 10 pts per hour. And 5 points for each finished item that took you 1-3 hours to complete. 10 points if it took you 4-6 hours to complete. I should sew masks this month. It would take me forever and I would rack up the points lol. |
