I've been receiving some emails advertising Scrapbook & Cards Today virtual event planned for November. I *think* there is a physical kit mailed to you? Anyone else interpret that?
It's kind pricey $263...but I do actually recognize 2 of the teachers and I like that all classes are scrapbook focused.
I am considering it if I end up not being able to attend the Expo (not looking good). I also like the idea of a weekend in November. My only thing is then I would have to use a facebook account to take advantage of all of its offerings - but they are hosting classes on Youtube which is nice.
Anyone else considering??

There are also Make & Takes with supplies included, not just the four classes. One of the Creating Keepsakes event is doing something similar. Since registration has already happened and people have paid for classes, the classes are sending the kits to the attendees and they are hosting something online.

A friend and I will be participating. I really like SCT (I get their monthly sampler) and am happy to support their efforts in keeping the craft community engaged while staying safely at home.

Has anyone registered? Now that registration is open, I’m considering it.

I did! I haven't received my invoice yet. I mostly am just doing it as a way to have a designated weekend to scrap since all my normal crops and events are canceled or most likely will be. If I am paying to participate, then I know I will get down to business and get some stuff done. I like that there is a physical kit and that it is all scrapbooking focused versus card making/stamping, which I feel like more things have become. I also like that it is in November.
Even with the higher price, it's still well under what I would spend for the Expo with having to have a hotel, shopping, etc. So I am telling myself I am "saving money"!
