So what is the latest model? One better over another?
I have the CP910, and it is about 5 or so years.
On 2 brand new ink rolls I got an error message that the ink roll was loose. One came out just fine. The other is stuck. I also had paper stuck but was able to pull it out of place.
It also was only printing blurry yellow on one half of the paper.
Ugh

I love my Epson PM400, if you are interested in changing brands.. You can usually find it on sale on Amazon. Hands down, I think its a better printer than Selphy.

Sorry. Mine is about that old, but so far it's been hanging on. Hope it lasts a long time. I love taking it w/me to crops and away scrapping.

I went with the cp1300. It has served me well and I use it for more than scrapbooking.

The Selphy is still a pretty badass printer for its price point and size. Wishing you loads of bright and happy photos (with proper yellow all over the print) with your new one!

I loved my Selphy, but when it bit the dust I bought an Epson PM400. I have to say I love it much more than the Selphy. It prints true 4x6 and also 5x7. The print quality it AMAZING. And you can use any type of paper in it - glossy, matte or cardstock. I love using it at crops for journaling. It has one multi-ink cartridge that says it last for 100 prints, but I think I get more than that. Stepping off the PM400 soap box

I, too, was a Canon Selphy die-hard. When mine died prematurely I decided to try a Epson PM 400. I LOVE it. I’m so glad I switched. The picture quality is amazing and I love being able to buy the ink and paper independently.
