Before you divorced? Who was married the longest... . Who was married the shortest time?
I saw some people posted they were married 24 years... at 24 years I Still thought I would be married forever. Ended up divorced just a few months shy of my 33rd anniversary....so I was married 32 years.

I was married exactly 14 years. Our divorce was final on our 14th wedding anniversary. We separated nearly two years before it was actually final, though, so we were really only married about 12.5 years.

13 years. I got married at 19 and divorced at 32. I've been with my s/o now for 9 years and I don't know that I can bring myself to marry again.

It took 3 years for our divorce to be finalized, but we were married for 26 years and engaged for 4 years before that! Wow! A long time. I, too, never thought I'd divorce, and I was the first in my family to do so. Now I'm happily married for 4 years and it's wonderful. Sometimes people change. Circumstances change. My "forever" was a very long and mostly happy chapter in my book.

A little over 10 years. I joke that he got confused by the 3-stone anniversary ring he gave me for our 5th anniversary. Just because the "yesterday" and "tomorrow" stones are the same size, doesn't mean they have to equal the same number of years.

26 years, although he had been with various girlfriends for the last 10 years of that. I didn't catch on until much later. Much later.

First marriage we divorced a few months before our 10 year anniversary. Its funny that 4 months before he filled for divorce he bought me this beautiful anniversary band to add to my set. It was gorgeous. Maybe that should have been a sign. He always did something out of character before shit hit the fan. Married now for a little over a year but have been together 4 years. He is the love of my life and my best friend and he feels the same about me.

We were married 16 years. You'd think you would have it figured out by then.

My sister was a few weeks shy of her 40th anniversary when her husband gave her an ultimatum. He wanted to retire to the desert and play golf. She wanted to stay put near their kids/grandkids/family/longtime friends. So he divorced her and is now out in the desert with a bunch of old golfers while she's doing tons of fun, awesome stuff with her family and friends.
My parents were married 33 years when my dad wanted out. Everyone was shocked. It's been over 30 years since then and in all that time I've never heard one person say they saw it coming.
DH and I have been married 31 years. I'd say I'm sure we're in it for the long haul, but I've witnessed long-term marriages end with (apparently) no warning, so I'm a little gunshy of giving absolutes like that. I *can* absolutely say that, today, we're happy and making plans for spending the rest of our lives together. I'm good with that.

We separated a month or two before our five-year wedding anniversary and divorce was final seven - eight months later.

This will probably shock you all but I am on marriage [HASH]3.
Marriage [HASH]1 - 7 years. Married at 19 and stayed 6 years too long because I didn't have enough faith in myself to get out of an abusive marriage. Took some very caring co-workers to help me leave.
Marriage [HASH]2 - 8 years...he felt the grass was greener at my BFF's house.
Marriage [HASH]3 - just celebrated 6th anniversary. I think we will last but after marriage [HASH]2 I don't use words like forever any longer.

We separated right before our 4th anniversary and the divorce was finalized a couple weeks before what would've been our 5th so 3 years. I've been with DH for almost 5 years now and have not had even a fraction of the drama I did in the first marriage.

Married in June, baby the following July and he was cheating in January but I didn't find out until a week before our 3rd anniversary. Tried counselling for a year before we were done for good.
