Here are the results! Sorry about my delay, busy day 😊
38%:Siberian Husky
26% German Shepherd Dog
17% Samoyed
14% Eurasier
2% Irish Red and White Setter
2% Basset Fauve de Bretagne
1% Parson Russell Terrier
what are your thoughts about this magnificent mutt? 😁❤️ ******************************************************* A few months ago we got Buddy & Schnitzel’s DNA done and this month we got the results for Jupiter. He is quite the mutt. Some breeds in his DNA are no surprise and some I’d never even heard of. Please take a guess and I’ll come back this afternoon with his results. Here are his breed type percentages to give you a head start 😊 Asian 38% - Breed 1 17% - Breed 2 14% - Breed 3 Herding 26% - Breed 4 Sporting 2% - Breed 5 Hound 2% - Breed 6 Terrier 1% - Breed 7 (an explanation of breed groups) in case you’re like me and have no idea 😁 Here is Juppie. He is tall and thin (72 pounds) extremely athletic. He is also protective, the dominant dog of our four pack, goofy, sensitive (he gets his feelings hurt). Easy to train and quick to learn. (Please let me know if these pics are huge, hard for tell on my iPad) Im looking forward to reading your guesses!

I would venture a guess of Akita and German Shepherd for the two top percentages. He’s gorgeous!

I had a vet identify my stray pup as a German Shepard / Akita. No DNA test back then. He looks just like your Jupiter except my dog was an orange/red color.

Your pup is adorable!
With so much husky in him he may lose the mask as he ages.
I showed my husband his picture. The one where he is stretching is what our dog does a lot, an awful lot. We look at it as her stall tatic!

Beautiful dog! Can you share which company you used for your dog’s DNA? Do you feel the results are accurate and how long did it take to get them? Thanks!

Beautiful dog! Can you share which company you used for your dog’s DNA? Do you feel the results are accurate and how long did it take to get them? Thanks! Hi glory77 😊 I used Wisdom Panel. Yes, I feel the results are accurate, I’ve done three dogs and they all seem to line up with their looks & behaviors. The entire process is about three weeks from ordering to results (provided that you send back the sample promptly) They accurately determined that Schnitzel up there was a GSD 😂

I have a Husky and yeah, looks like a Husky/GS mix. Those ears look so Husky. My dog is 19 months old and his coat color and mask are constantly evolving. http://instagram.com/p/CCgvwbugj6o

Jupiter, international dog of mystery! Seriously, this is my favorite kind of post. It should be a game show.

My son's gf has a husky and they look very similar. Coloring of a GS though.
He is precious. Lots of leg going on there.

That was interesting to see the results! I never even knew doggie DNA was a thing! Both of your babies are just gorgeous, and---omg--- the head tilt !!! ANY time I see a head tilt, I go completely crazy with love (in ANY dog, not just ours). I do some weird noises and gestures to try to get head tilts, but it's like they KNOW what I'm doing, and REFUSE to do it now! (it's verrrry true that bulldogs are STUBBORN!)
[article] Juppie does it to stall too!
me: everybody out, I gots to go! Juppie: ahhhhhh hoooold onnnnnn ... gots to streeeeeetch
and he often farts when he downward dogs! 🐕 💨 [/article]

LOL!!! Hmm....I WISH Meaty ONLY let out "air biscuits" while stretching! Good grief---he'll do it any time, any place! They are soooo bad sometimes, we feel like we're going to choke, and our eyes water!
