So I know it's only July but it looks like 2020 is just a crapshoot. Hopefully things will take a turn for the better in 2021...what are you looking forward to??? * Coronavirus vaccine and better understanding of the disease and treatments * Inauguration of our new president (sorry, not trying to make this political but something to look forward to) * a beach vacation * my youngest DD graduating from college * hanging out with family and friends again

My daughter being able to dance (recitals, conventions, competitions) Being able to go to beach for the day Going to a movie.
I don't think I can put "seeing family" because at this point I have pissed them all off for calling out their stupidity for the actions regarding the virus or for being racist.

I miss my library. They have curbside pick up, but I miss browsing.
Picking out my own produce... curbside pick-up on fruit is not always that great.
My orchestra kids (I have two) being able to practice with others.
The house to myself for 5 hours at at a time, although DH now works from home permanently so I'm not getting that back...

i want things to get more back to normal for my kids, school, friends, activities, etc.
might sound negative but i am not actually looking forward to anything myself. i am more of a "wait and see" kinda gal. i just don't want to be disappointed.

I’m hoping for a new president. I’m hoping for a vaccine. I hope I can get a music teacher position for fall 2021. I’m hoping travel restrictions will be lifted.

no more 2020! I saw somewhere, when you are describing something all messed up, you call it a 2020. "Boy, that car wreck sure was a 2020." "Falling asleep with a pizza in the oven sure did a 2020 on my oven."

Well, since I have been on both a lake vacation and beach vacation last month, I am looking forward to the end of this fucking virus, the end of Trump on this planet, and being able to take the European vacation that we had to postpone.
Hell, I was even in Ikea a couple weeks ago.

I want to scrapbook with my friends. And I want to go to the library. Those are about the only things I’ve missed honestly.

Not necessarily looking forward to anything, but rather more hopeful for things. Hopeful for my scheduled trip to Italy in April, that we don’t have to reschedule a third time. Honestly, I’m not even truly looking forward to it at this point because I’m really not sure it will even happen.
I’m also hopeful for a COVID vaccine and hopeful that 2021 is a less stressful year for all.

Ha! YOUR new president. Please.
Less coronavirus. Please.
Rescheduling my trip to Europe.
We were originally supposed to go to Hawaii with my sister in law for her 50th. Fingers crossed, but probably not. May end up being a second trip to Europe.

Getting back to a more "normal" way of life. A full work week. Being able to go out and about.
Re-building my savings. Working on it now, but work is cutback....so less hours means less income, which means less goes to savings.

My son's trip to Germany/Austria/Switzerland in March (fingers crossed--even though it's not my trip I'm still excited for him to go on it).
My sister's wedding in Colorado in July.
Getting to enjoy holidays without the stress of delivering flowers for my neighbor.
Watching my son play a full season of high school baseball (not just 6 doubleheaders like this year...but he got to play so I can't complain...too much...)
