While I disagree with the notion that third party votes are "lost" votes because I believe in the voting process of representation of my voice/beliefs, this year, there are no viable third party candidates for me to even consider. And yes, Trump's management and crazy town handling of COVID sealed the deal with this Republican to hold her nose and vote him out. Of course, I didn't vote for him in the first place because I knew he would lead based on all the wrong reasons/methods he was used to in his prior corp world. I feel for conservatives who have had to face that fact that their party chose Trump. My parents were Republicans, and so was I for awhile. What has happened to the Republican Party nationally is horrifying. I keep trying to figure out how it happened. Hoe did they get from Eisenhower to Trump? My only guess is that it began with Reagan and intensified when Gingrich was Speaker. But I don’t know if that’s right. Does anyone have a book to recommend?

I know that this isn't really relevant, because we're talking about Trump here, but is that legal? Yes, one can serve TWO terms, whether consecutive or split. I believe it is one can be ELECTED to two terms. They can serve more than that.

For anyone who thinks they have the luxury to sit it out, another four years of him becomes your legacy too. If he continues on with his poor management of Covid, millions can potentially die and the disease will come close to home if not inside. No one will be immune from the economic repercussions, either. We have peas on this board that have indicated they’d rather sit out than vote for Biden to save our democracy or vote for trump their party. It’s gross to be so entitled to take the privilege of voting so negligently. then it must be nice to have that privilege to ride out another 4 excruciating years until a new president is elected. must be nice to not care who is leading our nation or to have that much faith in a clown. but that's the beauty of our country. we have choices and liberties. we just have to hope that for every person who sits it out, 2 people will cast their vote.

Lee Atwater and Roger Aisles political consulting is where I lay the change.

A non-elected person such as a VP who assumes the role, can be elected twice subsequently up to ten years. Someone who assumes the office for more than two years, can only be elected once so ten is the max.

Perfectly said. Purists can take a flying leap. We. are. Sinking. If you are that damn pure, I have to wonder about the sort of little safe bubble that you live in.

Hoe did they get from Eisenhower to Trump? Speaking of Eisenhower, I still have my 'IKE' cuff links! I actually spent time in his local headquarters...

Well the videos of creepy racist trump far outweigh anything Biden has ever done. To me. I haven’t heard anything racist from Biden? And heard he’s well liked by minority’s. ? You can’t even spell minorities. When I’m on my phone sometimes it autocorrects sometimes not. Who the F cares? This is the meanness commented on the 20 pager.
