I can't find this anywhere! So many punches claim they are 2 inch square but they aren't true to size. Can anyone help me find one?

I think people buy the passport picture punches because they are true 2”.
I don’t own one but I mark on on my list e erytine this subject comes up lol, but then other things require my budget than buying it

It is a passport punch. I bought mine from Amazon several years back. It was a little pricey but worth it to me. It is black with red handles.

Can't figure out where there was a pretty big discussion on the topic with people saying theirs wasn't cutting great, etc. There is some discussion in the WITL thread from this spring. |

sleepingbooty I bought a passport punch from AliExpress that is a true 2x2 a year or two ago. It's perfect!

I have more punches than a person should own. None of mine are true 2 x 2 inch punches. Some are close but not quite.

I own this one. it punches beautifully, but it is a touch bigger than 2x2. That said, I think it is better being a hair bigger than smaller and is generally close enough for most uses. |

Not a punch - I had wanted one for all the 2” pockets I like to use, but didn’t want to spend the $$ on a passport punch, or deal with how big it is to store.
I got the Snap Simple Stories cutting templates from Scrapbook dot com and they are awesome. I use the 2” template the most and I get perfect little squares every time. The pack comes with other oft used sizes too. Great asset and easy to keep close by without taking up a lot of space.

After all these years of people discussing 2x2 punches, templates and dies, I've come to the conclusion that I like living on the (paper trimmer) edge because I still patiently cut down each 2x2 square.  Now, who's going to bring up the differences in actual measurements of 2x2 pockets depending on the manufacturer?... *prepares for round 2* |

I have the Recollections 3" punch and it does a 2.1" square. It's a tight fit in WRMK pockets, so you would probably still need to trim it a tiny bit.

WRMK makes a square punch. I have to confess I have one but it’s still sitting unopened it the box. I bought it to use with Allison Davis’s 6x6 paper pad class years ago. I’m taking her new one this summer, so maybe I will actually use it.
