Bahaha! I use it:
tape up temporary notes hold a part while I am trying to put something together ( like my ikea raskog) in place of scotch tape to tape something shut temporary labels
that is all I can think of at the moment.

I occasionally use it for scrapbook purposes (ha! Imagine that!) - mostly for making flip-ups, or using it to adhere things together (so functional, not even visible).
I give a lot of it to my daughter who’s scrapping now. 🥰 She uses it as her primary adhesive to stick things to her background paper.
I will add a strip to the back of envelopes when mailing friendly correspondence.

I don't bother with it on my layouts anymore.
Mostly my teens use it when they are painting, for crisp lines.

My number one use for it is as a tool...
I've gone through rolls of it just by
• Covering the back of staples and brads that I've put through photos and cards • Temporarily securing page protectors to my cutting mat when I use my fuse tool so the protector doesn't move • Using it as semi-permanent way of stopping the cords of my blinds getting tangled up all over the house • Using it to label boxes or bags - writing the contents on top of the washi with a Sharpie
Lately I've also been using it to cover up the webcam on my computer when I'm not on a call.
Other than that, the only other way I use it is as a decoration to Instax photos I've stuck down with double sided tape in my travellers notebook. I don't like sticking it directly on photos, so I tend to use them exclusively in journals and notebooks as a pop of colour against the white page.

Use it to adhere my extra favourite photos to the wall for a temporary photo wall in my spare room.

I use it to hold stencils down. I am not a sewer so I use it to hold shaker pockets together (or I close them with the Tiny Attacher staples). Put them on envelope flaps. If I use them on pages I usually staple the ends with the Tiny Attacher so they stay put. Lay them in strips, spray some mist, let dry then lift up and have spots to journal.

Lay them in strips, spray some mist, let dry then lift up and have spots to journal. I love this idea. I still use mists occasionally so I like the idea of using them to mask off areas. TFS! I also use washi to hold journalling cards down as I run them through my printer to print my journalling on top. The washi tape peels away easily and leaves no marks, it's great.

I tape down small dies, tape down paper to my Cricut mat that is not super sticky, and my favorite - seal the back of envelopes for greeting cards.

The top five inches of this layout are all washi tape. I like to turn it into paper. I also like to put it on white card stock and then punch out shapes to make ephemera for a page.

I will add a strip to the back of envelopes when mailing friendly correspondence. This! I use it to decorate envelopes all the time. I also use it as a plain stripe along one side of a card.

I throw away the cheap rolls that don’t stick at all (stupid Michaels washi). Life is too short. I use it for hinges on tip-ins and flip-ups in my journals. I use it to hold dies in place while cutting. I use it on every envelope I send out - I seal the envelope properly with tape or glue and then add a nice long strip of washi tape over the seal. That’s my favorite use for it. I actually use up rolls of washi tape this way! I send quite a lot of mail.

I've definitely used it to seal envelopes shut or hold dies in place, but mostly I use it by tearing the long edge and using it tucked under the edges of my photos as a border strip.

My two favorite things to do with washi:
1. Stacked washi layouts
2. Using to cover gutted pages, brads, and paper joins on the back of the layout.

Other than the typical scrapbooking use, I use it as tape when I wrap gifts. So much more fun than regular tape! My giftwrap soulmate! Samesies. I always use washi instead of regular tape for gifts. Attentive recipients love to find out which "pretty" tape they got with their new present. It's also holding up my laptop charger right now. Might have stepped on it with a metal high heel. The plastic did not like it one bit. Crack. Washi tape's been doing the trick so far (a year). And obviously, holding up temporary photos + notes on the wall without leaving marks (I use the original MT tape for this exclusively).

As I looked at my desk last night I realised I also use it to tape the front and backing sheets of stamp sets together, particularly the acrylic sets where the stamps are often not sticky enough to keep everything in place.

I also use it on gifts, but when wrapping a box, use it in lieu of ribbon and then stick a coordinating/contrasting bow on it. Right now I am using it to tape the bubble wrap around beads in packages I send out from my very small online bead store.

I use it to position dies on paper before running them through my Cuttlebug. I use it to tape notes on page protectors when I need to add something later. I use it to hold down my alignment ruler when placing alphas on cards and layouts. I have a few standard lengths of common items taped off on the edge of my work table as a visual shortcut (width of a PL card, the length that works best for the ribbon in tags, etc). Saves me having to measure every little thing... I use it to tape elements together on PL cards and to secure threads and cover brads and staples. I use it as temporary tape for messages and reminders both in the house and in the cars. I use it to hold the elastic ends together on masks I make so that the recipient can tie them to fit their head securely. I ran out of tailor's chalk so I use it to mark fabric for alterations and sewing lines, etc. I use it on my sewing machine to mark seam allowances and other measurements. I use it to tack things away from seams when I'm sewing. I use it to keep a pin on every bottle that gets clogged (like glossy accents). I use a green foliage washi it to mark vegan foods for quick reference. I sometimes use it as tape on presents, RAKs, and ebay items I send out. There's probably more - I have rolls stashed all over the house because I reach for it so frequently.
