Is anyone else scrapbooking today? I wasn’t planning on spending the whole day in my studio but both kids are occupied so I’m busy scrapbooking! My bf was overtimed tomorrow (he’s a firefighter) as well so I’ll try to get a few pages done between today and tomorrow. This is what I’m working with today:

The most I did today with my scrapbooking was to think about the 2 pager that's sitting on my table. I think I have a plan now at least, so that's good.
I love your layouts. I can't wait to see what you make!

Nope, not scrapbooking but I've been thrifting a whole bunch in the last 2 weeks, especially the past 2 days. The number of post bound 12x12 albums at thrift shops is amazing to me. There are also a bunch of 8x8 albums. It seems that people who started scrapping with 12x12 postbound have just totally abandoned that style.
I personally have a bunch of post bound albums I will likely never use that were given to me. But besides wood block stamps, those albums are seen in every store I go to.

I finished my layout! I used a Shimelle Facebook live video as inspiration.

craftymom101 I LOVE that birthday LO! Great use of fun papers and cute photos! I did some scrappy shopping today and printed some photos. Hoping to dive into paper play Thursday morning when dh has an appointment in town.

I've been purging paper kits (scraps and unwanted paper) and making them into card sized backgrounds. I had about 5 12x12 papers on my desk from the weekend purge, and so I sat down to cut those all down. I then made a card out of one of the scraps - which turned out great if I do say so myself. It will go to the seniors that I send cards to for distribution.
I also did a bit of organizing, made page pockets for 6x6 pads that have been opened and used with a bunch of scraps now. So to keep them all together (same paperline) I cut an XL Avery Elle page protector down and they fit in perfect.
I was only up in my room for an hour, but left feeling very accomplished!

Great layout craftymom101. Those are some great colors for the birthday line. I finished up the layout for Allison’s 6x6 class. Really like the sketch this week and for the most part it came together so quickly.

Earlier this week I scrapped my pup. She carries her bowl around with her just in case it is suppertime and her humans might forget. When I go to feed her, half the time I don't know where her bowl is, so I tell her to go find it. She does and I fill it. I then remembered I had a die cut of a wolf/dog that I wanted to make into a shaker for a dog page. I used the Week 7 from Alison Davis and there you have it, it is done. I leave the layout out because it makes me smile.

So neat to have a shaker on a page, and I love the little "bones"!
