Wow! That's gorgeous!
- I would want to just sit and gaze at it for about 30 minutes before cutting it (and even then, I wouldn't want to cut into such a masterpiece).
- Do you have a picture of the inside? I'm curious what shade of blue it is, and what did you use to tint the batter?
- You should absolutely send that in to Cake Wrecks for their "Sunday Sweets"- Jen would love it!

Wow! Thanks for all the lovely compliments! Here's another quick snap after the party showing the blue cake. I just used Duncan Hines blue velvet cake mix. Altogether I spent about 8 hours on the cake, so I didn't really have time to bake from scratch. I also made cat cookies for my son's school Halloween Party and Halloween bark for DD's bake sale on the same day so it was a bit hectic in my kitchen!!  |
