I volunteered to make a cake for my friend's son's birthday. He's currently obsessed with the Percy Jackson books, so I copied the cover of the first book. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out since I haven't painted a picture since I was at school over 30 years ago, and I've never painted on fondant with food color gel either! He loved the fact that the cake inside was blue since Percy Jackson always eats blue birthday cake!   |

Your work is amazing. You are going to have all of your friends knocking on your door to make birthday cakes for their kids. I love have you blended the green, grey and black colors.

I bake, all the time...and I say it is a good thing that my cakes taste good because they are NOT pretty. You did SUCH a nice job, you really should be proud of yourself! That will be a cake that child will never forget!!

That's a work of ART! You need to do a side business making cakes for friends and stuff. Word will get around and you can make good money at it! Way better than teaching Eikaiwa. Might not pay as well as English but definitely better hours, more interesting, creative and fun. Taihen ojozu desu ne!
