I got a notification that this was back in stock after being sold out right away, and I thought, "I have cancelled 2 vacations, not been out to eat in months, etc...and God knows what else...I deserve this!" I am sooooo excited! I loved the look of all of it and can't wait to do more. My circle is a tiny wonky on this one, trying to decide how to do a better circle stencil. Also should have used a brighter green than Peeled Paint, but oh well...I love the look!  |

What a gorgeous sympathy card, @kendramage! That silhouette stamp is really pretty and backed with that varigated circle it is STUNNING! what else is in the kit?
Not sure what you mean by a "wonky" circle, but if you are stenciling onto a card front, I would cut the circle where I wanted it on a piece of cs the same size as your card so I could clip the whole piece in place before blending the ink.

The kit came with a silhouette nature stamp set, (6x8) hands of love stamp set (4x6) and a flower stamp set (6x8) with huge flowers and dies too. Then a stencil and 8 pieces of heavy weight cardstock. It was 59.99. Anything over 50 is free shipping on her site, so that was cool. here is a link where she shows the kit (came out June 10th) www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uDhKAn8u40Gina K did an example of this card (this was not my idea, but lifted) but she used "Masking magic" for the circle, where I just used a circle shape I cut out of paper. I just placed the circle a little to the left. I am going to make another card with the hands stamp set, so I will try and post that when I can. |
