Merry Christmas & happy holidays to you too, hop2 and to all our peas! Anyone trying to capture today in pictures? So far, i have pics of all the kids opening gifts this morning. A pic of my youngest with a bow on his belly while exclaiming, "I'm the gift!" And a selfie with my youngest with us both wearing festive hats in front of the tree. I'm still trying to get pics with the other kids. Last night, after Santa came, I took all those pics of the tree, lights on, gifts underneath, stockings filled.

Merry Christmas!
I got the big camera out and got a couple of good people photos today - the only ones of the season, but at least I got a couple! Opening gifts and then a couple out in the light flurries we had today.
All we've done since last night is watch movies, eat junk food, and open gifts. And we're loving it! No stress holiday for the win!
Is there anything special you're capturing for today for December Daily? A special gift or moment?

We're relaxing on Boxing Day here in NZ at the mo! V quiet, just the four of us on Christmas Day. We had Hubby's twin brother's family here Christmas Eve which was a nice chill way to spend some time together. My teens, the youngest in particular, do not like me taking snaps at all, so I am waiting to get the single family photo today when they wake up. Christmas day is one photo with 3 of us, another with the 4th as he was getting ready to hand the stockins out. And food. Christmas Eve, I got a single photo of the eight of us at the table, where you can see there are 8 people.... just! I don't push it, as it's not about the pics I take, and would rather have the flow of the day carry on without arguing about letting me get a snap! Lol... I'll make what I did get work for the album.

Dogs take horrible Christmas morning pics. They literally took their brand new toys-via the dog door-out in the yard where there is a foot of snow. Guess they will seem brand new in a week or two when the snow melts. I bought our new puppy-purely by accident-a stuffed animal that says "First Christmas" AND I got a pic of him where you can mainly read the "First Christmas". That's my DD story.

I actually got a selfie with each of the kids!😁
It was the first pic I've had with my teen in almost four years! (Dysphoria issues at play)
I love, love, love having these pics and will probably make a collage to hang on my wall, as well as scrap them.

Merry Christmas everyone!
I'm sad this thread will soon come to an end.
It was snowing this morning. Our first white xmas in 10 years.
I was sitting on the floor and the tree is in front of a window so I got some photos of it snowing outside with the tree in half the frame. Hopefully one turned out. I think my husband took a couple of photos while we were opening presents. I totally forgot!

We had a drab rainy Christmas Day so I’m glad I got some bright frosty photos yesterday. We didn’t do much and the photos I got probably suck because the weather makes the house so dark. But it’ll be fine. We got a puzzle so I think I achieved pandemic bingo at long last! We got it finished in 4 hours. We both got out our work lights to give us enough light to do the puzzle. Mine is for photography, his for working on cars and stuff. http://instagram.com/p/CJPxR0dgEbm

Merry belated Christmas, my fellow DD Peas! Second test came back negative (phew!) but these past few days were hard on my SO. He's never done Christmas without his family and video calls simply did not make up for real human contact. It's the accumulation effect after spending almost a year without seeing them. I went into cocoon mode and did my best to nurse his broken heart. Not an easy celebration at all over here. I'm glad it's over (yep, I said it). Today marks the first day for vaccination across the European Union. Huzzah! Only a few months to go before I'm (finally!) in line to get mine... CANNOT WAIT!

@zingermack Love those pages! sleepingbooty (((Hugs))) to your household. It has been such a loooooonnnng year for those faithfully following social distancing. Very emotionally draining. I'm sorry your SO was so sad. Here's to a vaccinated new year, and a back to normal next Christmas.

Not an easy celebration at all over here. I'm glad it's over (yep, I said it). Oh how I wish I could spend an evening chatting and laughing with you in real life. Maybe someday. Until then, you mean so much to me. Thank you for all you have done to make this miserable year just a little bit brighter with your love, laughs, wit and warmth. XOXXXOOOOOO

Merry Christmas everyone! I got a chance and the motivation to finally work on my DD yesterday. I'm up to day 13, just doing 1 photo per day and keeping it simple. I wasn't sure which day I was going going to stop at. In years past I've done both Dec 26 or the 31. But this year I'm calling it on the 25th. I'm ready to work on other stuff.

Here’s the thing about December daily, I don’t like working on it after Christmas. I’m just really not in the mood. All my jolly is gone. I’m trying to motivate myself but I really am not able to. I told myself I at least want to write my stories while they are fresh but that seems Ike a chore.
What I did do is get new storage baskets for my craft shelf. Then I went and separated my stamps by company into the baskets. I put my kids for feed your craft and Kelly purkey in the baskets with the stamps. Then I went through all my project life cards and separated by company again instead of color and stick those in the baskets. Total tiny craft corner organization project is underway.
I really want to finish my December daily because I need my ikea organizer bin cleaned out and I want to store my December scrapbook supplies away. I just can’t motivate myself.

I don't scrap DD until I print the pics in January, but today I separated the embellishments and memorabilia into page protectors, and jotted info onto Post It notes.

I have been making 3-5 spreads each afternoon for my Christmas album. I'm looking forward to being able to share a flip through or something. But now I have to divert some energy to make my year end photo book which is a different size - 7x7 pages. And after planning to do a few pages each month during the year I got stuck in late Feb, gee, I wonder why? Sigh. Thanks, pandemic. So it's a bit overwhelming getting started, but I found good photos, I wrote down story titles and the dates of the photos. I'm doing the same as I did with JYC, keeping it very simple, trying to choose just 1 or 2 best photos for each story, and jumping around to do the easiest pages first so I get some momentum going. I'll worry about the big picture once I get through some pages. I feel like I've said these same things before... Déjà vu or maybe I'm a broken record... (yes, I googled that to make sure I had the accents where they should be! If they're wrong, blame wikipedia )

I'm going until the 31st since I haven't had Christmas with my nephew's yet. Will do that on the 1st but will document in my book on the 31st. I don't have a story/picture for today. I'm at work buried in paperwork. I could do that, but I already have a layout about work and all my yearend stuff I have to do.
I'm sure I'll think of something. No one said I couldn't do a second layout about work I guess.

I won’t print my photos for another week or so but I can plan what I’m doing and write stuff down while it’s more fresh.

Do you also need some well-deserved cheese to go with that? How's your little album going? I've just printed some more photos and am taking a 1h craft break after lunch. It's going well but the Play section far outweighs the other ones at the mo', ruh-roh. I couldn't find it in my heart to make my SO pose for a selfie on Christmas since he was so miserable. Managed to capture a photo when he was video-chatting though. Eh, I think I *have* to go all the way to Epiphany now just to fill up the Celebrate section. Yay for picking up your 2020 album again. Are you planning on doing a photo book for 2021 as well? I've been wondering if there would be any interest in a year-long PL(esque) discussion and who'd inaugurate it... I don't scrap DD until I print the pics in January, but today I separated the embellishments and memorabilia into page protectors, and jotted info onto Post It notes. Kudos, we've all been there and we all know that's a major part of the work! I really want to finish my December daily because I need my ikea organizer bin cleaned out and I want to store my December scrapbook supplies away. I just can’t motivate myself. Go, ecvnj58, go! You can do this. You can get this done before the New Year. Or the 2nd of January. Maybe the 3rd. Definitely before the 4th! Come on, you know you're going to love holding that completed album in your hands. Remember the satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment? Best way to start 2021, I say. I'm up to day 13, just doing 1 photo per day and keeping it simple. I wasn't sure which day I was going going to stop at. In years past I've done both Dec 26 or the 31. But this year I'm calling it on the 25th. I'm ready to work on other stuff. This is definitely one of those projects where you need to go with your own flow and intuition. When it's time to move on, you just know it's time to move on. Congrats on having made it past the halfway mark already! Oh how I wish I could spend an evening chatting and laughing with you in real life. Maybe someday. Until then, you mean so much to me. Thank you for all you have done to make this miserable year just a little bit brighter with your love, laughs, wit and warmth. XOXXXOOOOOO Oh yes, my lil @zingermack. Good times ahead, somewhere in the *vague hand gestures* future. We will share wine IRL, zut alors. Until then, it's an absolute hoot spending time in here with you (and you, and you *points like Oprah at the DD-ers*).

I’m happy to say I’m finishing today. My picture and story are printed. I just need to embellish and photograph. Then my gigantic mess needs to be cleaned up. I think I just needed a couple days off before the push of finishing and I got a ton done yesterday afternoon.
I did notice I have 2 day 21’s and no day 23. That’s life. I’m not fixing it because it took me forever to cut out all my numbers. I’m ok with this plan.

Fellow CAOS fans, has anyone seen a vertical poster for part 4 releasing on December 31st? My 4x4 format can't make the horizontal banner from social media work properly and for some reason, I've only stumbled accross vertical posters made by fans so far. Surely, I must be blinking stupidly over the official one, right?
