I agree... but hmmm... Groundhog Day-- maybe you've just hit on the next 'it' animal! groundhogs! They're kinda cute, and hey, if you put a top hat and glasses on them, they'll be all ready for papercrafting! (just like every other random animal they choose, loL!) My husband loves groundhogs! I can see it now, a groundhog layout for him. Pebbles already does hedgehogs, so it could definitely work! |

Sigh... I was hoping to open and find plenty of oranges, yellows and marigolds. Nope. weren't we all! <sigh> is right!! With a good   thrown in because I don't think we ever DID figure out where the name Marigold fit in with this collection... lol. |

Swiss chocolate manufacturer Milka's old mascot was a groundhog and BOY OH BOY the French love that freakin' Alpine marmotte. 20 years on and everybody here still quotes the old ad in which "the groundhog puts the chocolate in the aluminium foil". I'm absolutely down with groundhogs becoming the next scrappy animal. Marmottes are all over French advertising, I swear. Milka's OG ad featuring the story about groundhogs putting the chocolate tablets in the foil packaging: Milka brings back the groundhog 20 years after the OG ad for their hazelnut spread ad campaign with a twist (human-animal roles reversed): Public TV channel France 3 used them in parodic movie settings for their little after-the-ad-break clips a few years back: France 3 also used them with a musical twist: Anyhoo, I have groundhog memories to scrap! |

I'd forgotten how many years France 3 has been using marmottes... Must be 5 or 6 by now! They're *very* popular here.
