Have you noticed how little interest there seems to be in stamping/cardmaking? Very few postings.

I'm primarily a scrapbooker although I do make cards - simple cards. So while I read over here and participated in Cardtober - I don't really post here.

The stamping/card making board here has often been a bit slow, except for CARDtober. Grammadee tried to boost activity earlier this year by getting hostesses to sign up to offer challenges. There was more activity during those months.
Most of the monthly challenges were paused for the summer except for azcrafty’s sheetload of cards monthly challenge, but Grammadee is already working on getting hosts for CARDtober.
I think we all could do more to initiate threads and participate. I’m not sure that it is because there are so few stampers and card makers. It seems to vary. If we all started just one thread, we could get the board moving.

I always try to comment.
I post the SheetLoad of cards video ( 1st Tuesdays of the month) and if I see a new technique or a free download I post them too. Sometimes nobody comments so no idea if its helpful or not.

I think a lot of people want to post where the action is! But also, a lot of things that are interesting to card makers and stampers are also interesting to scrappers, so people prefer to post on the main board so more people will see it. I think there are a fair number of card makers here though, and maybe we could all do a little more to encourage chit chat here. Maybe we need to start some ongoing threads to share cards every month, or talk about what we’ve bought, or talk about card drives or projects we’ve heard about. I’ll think on it... Maybe we need some stamping drama to get people riled up and chatting here  anyone know any good cardmaker-drama?! (jk, I think I’ve had my fill of drama for 2020) |

I’ve had my fill of drama, joblackford. I’d rather have the peace here, LOL.
I did post a tutorial from Graphic 45 for a swinging gate card a few days back. No response. I will be posting the card I made last night in that thread hopefully tomorrow. Maybe that will make a difference in getting responses.

I’m sorry! I have not been posting much. A lot of it has to do with pulling away from this message board in general. I used to love it as my happy place. Now it’s mostly doom and gloom and people wanting drama. I don’t do drama and don’t enjoy friending people that do. I do miss many people and will try harder to post over here though  |

I don't make a lot of cards, but I enjoy reading here. I just forget to come to this board. I will try to come more often. I have learned so much from the Card Makers on this board.

Coming here just stresses me out way to often these days. I will try to post more here, as well. I have been making a ton of cards these days. I've also been organizing my stamps and dies, etc. |
