Thank you all for the prayers and kind words and thoughts. DH finally got his test results call late yesterday evening from Urgent Care. It has been 2 very long weeks. He went to his dr today to get his results and return to work papers today. He is so ready to go back to work.

2 weeks for a result? That's crazy! Is this Trump's idea of "leading the world" in testing?
A work colleague had hers in 18hrs (got it via text late at night) that was from a drive through testing station Mine took 3 days but only because I had it done through a doctor and it was over the weekend and they weren't open on Sunday.
Glad he doesn't have it though & he's well enough to go back to work.

what a relief for you guys! 2 weeks for a result? That's crazy! Is this Trump's idea of "leading the world" in testing? I agree, having to wait 2 weeks for a test result of this magnitude is crazy. (although I think longer wait times are becoming the norm, unfortunately- when I got tested in May, it only took 3 days, but I do think its taking much longer now in some parts of the country.) I mean, really-- what ARE the chances that the person *really* doesn't go ANYwhere during that wait time where they could possibly infect other people if they are positive?!? Yes, some people probably are responsible... but lots more either CAN'T stay home, for various reasons, or don't think it's that big of a deal.
