A friend mentioned the name of this card to me, and I had never heard of it. It looks intriguing, especially if you have some extra Graphic 45 begging to be used. Graphic 45 Swinging Gate Card Tutorial
This doesn’t have to be limited to Graphic 45 papers. I would love to see anyone who wants, to give this card a try. It’s not difficult. If you decide to make this card, or have made one already, please feel free to post your Swinging Gate cards here.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but I did finally get a couple of cards made based on the instructions shown in the link (given in the first post), although I used different Graphic 45 collections from my stash. This one was made a few days ago with the G45 World’s Fair collection:

And here is s second one that I made for a friend this afternoon. I used the G45 Raining Cats & Dogs collection. I’ll be writing a little note on cream colored card stock and gluing it to the (black) left side of the open card.

Thank you for sharing! I watched the tutorial and it seems like a fun not-too-complicated design. Of course now I want to go shopping! I had the farm papers on my wishlist but decided not to buy them - they’re not really my colors, so I don’t think I would actually enjoy using them. But I see they have some other lovely collections. The fairie wings might have to come home with me...
The World’s Fair card looks lovely, and I have a friend who would LOVE the cat card you made.
I didn’t even know G45 had a card kit. Maybe for the best, given my budget! But anyway, the swinging gate could work with any supplies. I’m trying to think of whether I have enough die cuts and papers to go with some Doodlebug cut aparts that I know I have stashed... that would be a very different look!

Wow, scrapnnana, your cards are beautiful. I love those World's Fair images. The cats are really cute too. That's a fun new idea for a card. I may try it out. I don't buy a lot of paper with images, but I'll go some digging. Thanks for sharing your cards and the video.

You made some beautiful cards there, scrapnnana - you’ve inspired me to give that style it a try. I don’t have the Graphic 45 paper, but I have lots of scraps and bits that I can use. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for this! After I finish my SWAP cards today I'm going to give this a try. I'll have fun digging through my papers to find just the right ones to use. If it turns out well I will share.
