Member Gallery - How to Use

Our member gallery is in the form of a Flickr group, called 2PeasRefugees Gallery. You can always find a link (called Gallery) in the top menu bar here, which will open the group page in a new tab.
To add photos to the gallery, you will need to have a Flickr account. Accounts are free, and come with 1TB of storage. To create an account, click here.
Once you have an account, you need to join the group. There are two ways to do that:

Once you have sent your request, please be patient if you are not added/invited immediately. It will be done ASAP but the admins may not be online at the same time as you so you may have to wait up to 24 hours.
Please ensure you read the group rules before adding photos to the group - there are only a few, but they are important if everyone is to get the best out of the gallery. The rules can be found on the About page of the group, and in the second post of this thread.
You can add existing photos from your Flickr account to the group, or upload new photos to add.

There is currently a limit of 25 photos per person per day, so that the group doesn't get overwhelmed by a small number of posters. If this proves unnecessary it may be removed or increased at a later date.

- While logged into Flickr, visit the group page.
- Click the "+ Join Group" button (to the right of the group name)
- A new page will appear with a request form. Make sure you include your Pea name in your request. Click "Send This"
- The group admin will approve your request and you can then start adding photos to the group.

- From this site, send me a PM
- Your message subject must be "Join Flickr group"
- Include your Flickr name or email address in your PM
- Check your FlickrMail for the invite; click on Yes in the message to join.

- Navigate to the photo on Flickr via your photostream or albums, and click to bring up the individual photo page
- Scroll down to the info area, click "Add to group"
- Click "2Peas Refugees Gallery", then "Done"
To upload a new photo or photos to the group:
- Go to Upload
- Browse to choose your photo(s) from your PC
- When the thumbnails are all ready, click "All" (top centre). At the left side, it should show "Editing x photos" where x is the number you are uploading
- On the left, click "Add to Groups"
- Click "2Peas Refugees Gallery", then "Done"
- You can also edit individual image titles, descriptions and tags at this stage but unselecting "All", clicking on each thumbnail in turn, and using the options at the left.
- Once they are complete, click "Upload Photos" at the top right.
