Like no seriously! I have time to scrapbook and zero mojo. Tried all the tricks, browsed for inspiration, cleaned my desk, got new photos printed, purged supplies, purchased new supplies and zip! I get distracted by social media(under the guise of looking at scrapping) and then I choose to go clean the garage instead😳. I need help!

The more time I have, the less motivated I am. Funny how that works.

You should try the virtual crop tomorrow or Sunday! I've met some really nice people and it's always more fun with other people to bounce ideas off, or to just chat with while you scrap.

This is when I scraplift. I find a layout I like and just copy it. That always gets my creativity going.
Or, just try again tomorrow!

When we moved halfway across the country about 4 years ago, I lost my scrapping friends, access to any LSS, and my mojo didn’t make the move with me.
The funny thing is that when COVID-19 hit, along with some other family challenges, crafting became my therapy. I joined a Disney crop here and actually got a few layouts done. I joined the Queen and Company Royalty Facebook Group, and the Graphic 45 Facebook Group, and now I am back to a lot of card making and some scrapbooking.
I don’t think there is a magic bullet. I think you just need to make the effort and make something, whether it’s a card or a scrapbook layout. Then keep doing it, putting one crafty foot in front of the other, until it comes more easily.
An amazing scrapbooker at the LSS years ago (who had gotten honorable mention in Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame) once told me something that I have never forgotten:
“My grandmother always said that creativity is like a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it gets.”
If you don’t use it, you lose it. To get it back, you have to keep making the effort until you get it back.

Please stop in - We'd love to have you! I lose my mojo all the time. Sometimes I've played with product to create a background pages or I make something from my scraps.
