your crafting space? Is it a scraproom, she-shed, studio or something all together different? I don't scrapbook any more, really. But, I still do different paper crafts and cards, as well as encaustic painting.
I'm trying to come up with a fun name, but I'm at a loss.
Thanks!

It’s a corner of my bedroom so I call it my desk.
But I’m also partial to studio. Next apartment I hope to have a studio even if it is a nook

Probably craft space? Or just my desk?
I don’t have much space, just a couple of corners of the most central room of the house, so it would feel weird to call it my studio or office when it’s mostly the hallway to all the other rooms in the house! Technically it’s the dining room, but in a house without hallways this room is basically a square hallway with a table in the middle and my workspaces in two corners.

I still call it the dining room. Ha! Sometimes I refer to it as my room, once in a while my scrapbook room. Sorry..this is probably no help.

I call my dedicated room a "craft room." In addition to scraproom, she-shed, & studio, I've also heard others refer to their spaces as a scrapbook room, atelier, creative space, creative studio, creative haven, art studio, paper arts studio, art space, art den, arts & crafts room, craft cave, card studio, card cave, craft (or crafty) corner, craft lounge, craft den, workshop, playroom, etc. Hope you find the perfect name for your area.

I don’t have a clever name for it. Angela Kinsey from The Office calls her she shed her That’s What She Shed. 😆

I call mine my craft room. Every once in a while, I call it my office because I work from home in there. When we were looking at houses, dh and I made sure there was room for a craft room and for a study (which is what dh calls his office/sitting area.)

I call it the family room - because I'm set up on one wall of the family room.
We looked at a house this weekend that if we buy it, I would have a dedicated craft room...I've been dreaming about that...but DH is having cold feet about buying so we haven't put an offer in and I don't think we will.

I just say 'going up stairs'. If I am referring to it here, I call It my scrapbook room (though I want to call it my studio, but Im not an artist or anything).

I have a small bedroom for my space, and I struggle with what to call it. It was supposed to be my husband’s office, but that corner of the house gets terrible cell connection for whatever reason, so he abandoned it. Then it morphed into a second playroom, before I took it over. Everyone was still calling it “the office”, but it bugs me since I do not work in there. I feel like a phony calling it an office. Lol. It is where I do creative stuff, read, and do yoga. I mused about calling it a studio - as that is technically what you’d call an artist’s space, and also what you call a yoga space. But calling it a studio sounds too pretentious to me. My husband and oldest call it “ mom’s studio” and I feel like they’re teasing me every time. 🙃
Most of the time I just call it “my room”, but that causes problems with kids then asking “which one?” 🤪 - uh, not the one I sleep in!

• Right Said Shed • Shed Sweet shed • He Shed She Shed • The grateful shed • Ready Sheddie Go • Justin Timbershed • Shedquarters • Frankenshed • ‘Ted’ (the shed) • The Ruminator

I call it “my room”.
Online, I’ve called it the scrapbook room, the draft room, the scrapbook studio, etc. I’ve tried them all, but I always end up calling it “my room”.

I call it my "scrapbook area".
It's the area in my studio apt where my scrapbook stuff is. I have a couple rolling carts(that hold my supplies) and a couple stationary mini dressers. I also have a three tiered rectangle rolling cart, that rolls into a closet...it has my "work in progress" on it. I have to put it in the closet, because my nosy cat. I scrapbook on my bistro table, which is adjacent to the scrapbook area. I move my rolling cart to the table when I am scrapbooking.
In a perfect world.....my scrapbook area would be in a bigger sized alcove with a sliding door. That way would I could leave everything out and close the door.

Mine was originally an office space, and still houses my computer and printer, and personal files. It used to have a second land line and a fax. I sometimes call it my office, but in my mind it’s my scraproom. My ddil calls it “Gramma”s Michaels”

My scrapbook area. It's actually an open space/loft area at the top of our staircase on the 2nd floor.

Wow! Thank you for all the replies and great ideas! There are definitely some fun names in there! I always wanted to go with studio, but like honeypea said, it sounds pretentious, when I'm clearly not an artist, by any means! Elsabelle that's hilarious! grammadee , how cute! linda , I hope your dream comes true! To all of you THANK YOU for all the great ideas! I love them! How lucky are we, to all have a fun space to retreat to?!

Mine has a couple different names...depending on who I am talking to...
It was my son Josh's room, before he moved out so sometimes it is still Josh's room lol..
I call it the Sheriffs office, and actually have a sign on the door saying "Tombstone Sheriff's Office" that I got on vacation to my favorite place, Tombstone AZ
When I was rerorganizing and buying furnature I worked with this bitter lady who was always sticking her nose into everyones business. She said to me one day while looking online at things "Well, does this thing HAVE to be the Taj Mahal?" lol... I said " Well, actually...it does?!?" ( I mean, otherwise, why redo it? If was not going to make it the way I wanted it, I would just have left all the thrifted and repurposed stuff I had been using for 20 years in there lol) Anyway so now if talking to coworkers (bitter lady has quit now) we all refer to it as the Taj Mahal lol.

My craft room. Studio sounds pretentious, she-shed/she-room sounds ridiculous (which is why the commercial is so funny when used with Cheryl’s name). Art room sounds like I’m doing something I’m not (I know others will disagree). Those are my thoughts on my room. No shade to those who call theirs one of those.

I like She Shed, but to me it needs to be detached/stand-alone structure (to garner the shed name).
Taj Mahal is awesome!
