Hey everyone!!! We are headed into WEEK 3 of "Exercise With Me." I am so excited to keep my body and mind moving. Anyone can join whether you have been with me from the beginning or if you are new this week. All and any levels are welcomed. Just tell us your goals for the week and check in daily or at the end of the week to tell us how you did. It's ok if you miss you targets, just keep going. That's it! See you all this week, sweat and all!

My goal for the week is A.M. aerobics every day and hand weights on Tuesday and Thursday. Evening walks.
I have lost almost an inch around my belly! That is my problem area. Now I have gotta keep going. 🤩

My goal is to ... listen to my body. I'm getting a shingles vaccine and I hear it can affect you. So I'll do 10,000 steps and arm exercises every day I am not affected. I did hit my goal weight, yay. It's slightly over the BMI charts, sorry BMI people, but this is where I feel really good.

I am planning on cycling to work 3 times, weather pending, as I am not hardcore enough to do it in a thunderstorm yet. Our humidity is off the charts right now, and you can feel the sky is about to break any minute.
Our condo pool just reopened, so I am hoping to get back a couple of times this week. I used to swim every night but haven't since March.

Thank you! I had to start slower--about 1-2 miles a day--then increased it. Yesterday is the first day I did that much. The day before it was 6.7 though!!

I made it my goal to get out and walk three times today. I have a hip that needs to be replaced, so I have to walk in short bursts. My inspiration is my neighbor, who had back surgery on Tuesday, was home on Thursday, and out walking with a walker on Saturday. If he can make it a couple of laps around the cul de sac, I can get out there and walk a few times a day!

Hi all! I had a bad week (ed) last week with not making exercise a priority! Boy I regret that. I'm dressed and about to go on my long walk w/DD.
Later this eve I'll hit the local big hill hike Tarantula Hill. Let's do this!

Just finished my 30 minute bike ride. I finally remembered that the Ic4 resistance is different from the peloton resistance, so last week when they said to be at 25 resistance I was actually at 40. Today’s ride was much better since I had my cheat sheet right there.
I also get my new bike seat today, I am hoping that helps for comfort. The list 5 minutes are agony on my bits. I asked on another thread about seats and everyone said I just had to get used to it, but almost all the reviews of the ic4 mention the torture device that is the seat, more so for women. I ordered a seat designed for ladies that looks very different. Hopefully it is less bruise inducing.
My goal is to ride 30 minutes every morning.
Great job everyone, reading about your various activities inspire and motivate me!

We went out for a fancy steak dinner on Saturday - even ordered dessert which we never do - so I am ready for the week! I'm re-starting my strength training program. I do so much better at staying motivated when I have a prescribed schedule, so I like doing the programs on the Peloton app. I have 3 days of strength training mixed in with a few Peloton rides and a lot of stretching.
I've realized that incorporating a good stretch routine really helps with recovery. I'm obsessed with the foam roller classes on the app, but I've also found some good ones on Instagram.

I was excited to workout Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week. But I have a hair appointment Tuesday during lunch instead So tonight I’m going on a group dog walk with my friends. It will be our first one since the beginning of March. Yes, mask and social distancing will be done Hopefully I can do some type of exercise Tuesday and Wednesday so Thursday doesn’t hurt so bad!

Menopause and inactive thyroid - I don't typically lose any weight, but I keep at it so my joints feel ok. I have double knee replacements, a hip replacement, and osteoarthritis everywhere. If I don't exercise I feel achy and stiff. Today I got in an hour of cardio step together - It's 1pm and I'm at 9500 steps, 2029 calories burned, 116 active minutes. I'll likely be kinda lazy the rest of the day.

I lost 5 pounds of my Covid 15(ish) this past week. I got back to my low car, intermittent fasting eating HOORAY FOR YOU!!!! That is great to hear! I am planning on cycling to work 3 times, weather pending, as I am not hardcore enough to do it in a thunderstorm yet. Our humidity is off the charts right now, and you can feel the sky is about to break any minute. Girl, anyone who rides a bike in humidity should get some extra bonus points in life!!! LOL! Be gentle with yourself but glad to see you are trying to move at your pace. Congrats! Hi all! I had a bad week (ed) last week with not making exercise a priority! Boy I regret that. I'm dressed and about to go on my long walk w/DD. Later this eve I'll hit the local big hill hike Tarantula Hill. Let's do this! Way to rebound! OMG Tarantula Hill sounds awesome and a little scary. LOL! Have fun, too.

I did my aerobics but didn't do it in normal A.M. time. I was so tired and not motivated today. But once I got up and started moving I felt much better. I hope to finish the day strong!

Did a slow dog walk with friends tonight. I love getting out with them, but our pace drives me nuts! I’m a very quick walker with long legs. We poke Tonight it didn’t bother me like it used to, probably since this is the first time I’ve seen them since the beginning of March! We walked 1.6 miles but it only counted as 2 minutes of exercise

So I did 10,878 steps but no arm exercises.

Did my 30 minute ride this morning, the new seat was heavenly. I didn’t wince when I sat down and didn’t want to quit halfway through the ride due to pain in my privates. Since I have never really exercised like this before (regularly and enjoying it) I am going to stick with 30 minute rides for 2 weeks then take longer or harder rides. My goal this week is to do it every day and be proud of myself.
It is too hot for me to walk outside, but man I hate trying to get steps in without going outside,

Okay so I got my new shoes, Brooks Ghosts and they fit different from my old pair and they gave me a blister on my first walk in them! ARGH! So annoying WHY do they change the fit on the newer models? I ordered off of Zappos so I wasn't able to try them on first.
Anyway that threw a damper on the afternoon Tarantula Hill hike so I'm going to go today. I've got better socks on and am going to go for a good walk right now.
Let's keep it going all! Woot!

Steamy two mile walk with the dog first thing this morning. It really is oppressively hot for outdoor exercise right now.
I’m going to do a nice vinyasa yoga flow later. And DH and I have decided to join the tiny gym close to our house as soon as I’m cleared for weight bearing exercise. It’s just cardio machines and weights, no frills, and it’s pretty easy to find a time when no one else is there.

Just did a 60 minute endurance ride on the Peloton. I PR'd by a lot, and now I'm starving. Trying to restrain from eating everything in the fridge.

So I hope I will have it all here by next week. Why not look cute while you sweat, right? 😍 Great job! I ordered myself more pairs of the ultra soft Old Navy leggings, they are so comfy and they actually look good. I agree about looking cute, I know it is shallow but when I look better I feel better! I need to add in arm exercises, I will try those tomorrow night.

Tuesday: 10,148 steps, no arm exercises. It's hot here, so my daughter and I do one walk in the morning and another in the evening.

I only walked 4 miles yesterday, but did get quite a workout emptying boxes and setting up my new scrapbook room. Today I have 1 mile in so far. The dog accompanied me this morning and he just wanted to come home and eat. It's going to be 108 degrees here today, so my walking may be finished!! I will work in the scrapbook room though.
