I picked up a package of chicken leg quarters from Publix last night but I don’t have a go-to recipe to use. Does anyone have one? My bf is easy to please and likes spice, if that helps. TIA!

Brush with olive oil, season (salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, ceyenne etc.....) and roast in the oven. One hour at 350 should do it but it's been a while.

marinate in your favorite sauce or rub and cook low (225) in the oven for about 2 hours covered. take off cover at the end and turn up oven to something like 450 to crisp up the skin.
i cooked chicken three ways last week, on the grill, low oven and high oven. low oven was the best (only because the grill fire was too hot.) high oven was ok but the meat was nowhere near fall-off-the-bone.

I since i cook with the skins on, I pat dry, use "slap yo mama" seasoning and spray with a little olive oil spray. COok in my air fryer. So good.
Slap Yo Mama is just a combo of salt, pepper, garlic and cayenne.

Mix 1/2 c of Dijon mustard with 1/4 c of maple syrup, add 1 t of rosemary. Pour over salted and peppered chicken pieces. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. I usually serve with chicken rice a roni. It is sooo good!
