We are the only ones in my family who send them out. I didn't know how appreciated they were until we skipped a year and got a ton of complaints. So yes here.

That's the only kind I like I would so much rather see a picture of your family than a stock image from a store.

Yep, I like them very much. I also like a photo stuck into a basic card, too. I just really love photos.

The last few years, I have sent photo cards with pics of the cats to my family. DH always picks the Shoebox Hallmark cards for his family.

I love to get them, but I'm always self-conscious to send them out. It's just DH and me and we never do anything super fabulous.

I used to scrap a photo for the front of our cards, but it was a lot of work and all we ever got in return was the photo cards. I started sending those last year when we were moving and our card list grew. I was already hand-making 30+ and wasn't up for making more than that, so I will continue with the photo cards from Tiny Pics. I do get a little flack from some for not hand making them because they were pretty much the most special types that people received, I just couldn't afford the supplies for that many cards. I bought my supplies when Archiver's had Scrapfest. I got a good discount for being a vendor. Maybe someday if my list goes back down I will start again.

Absolutely love them and also send them. In fact, it almost seems weird to get a regular card now. I display them on my kitchen cabinets so they are also part of my Christmas decor. I don't know what we'll do once my boys are grown and I don't have Christmas pics of them to send.

I do photo cards mainly because it's too tedious to hand write and sign 50 cards.

I'm a fan of them. We live far from family & friends and there are many we don't get to see every year. I keep all of the photo cards we get in a very simple scrapbook that gets added onto every year. It is kept with our Christmas books & DVDs, so comes out with the Christmas decorations.

Been sending them since we married 30 years ago. It's a great history of our family ~ from our wedding picture in year one, to pictures of DS, to the entire family, then showing the addition of Kellie, etc. I LOVE getting photo greeting cards from everyone!
ETA: I also include a yearly newsletter. <gasp> Been doing that for 30 years too. When I married, I moved to CA where DH lived and all my friends were scattered across the US. It's wonderful to go back and read them ~ it's kind of like a diary/journal for our family.

I like photo cards...but as per the other thread, I like them even more when the are included with a (even short) handwritten note. I like handwritten sentiments. I really do.

I like any card. So many people don't send them anymore.
I take a photo of my sons, now adults, in front of our fireplace every year for the past 20 years and I include it in a store bought card. My friends and family enjoy seeing our annual photo as the boys have grown from babies to adults.
I like newsletters too!

I prefer photo card to a regular greeting card. And I love Christmas letters. I don't care if it's braggy or depressing or whatever else people complain they are -- it's still news about friends and family. I keep all the photos and letters each year. The plain signed cards go in the trash after the holiday is over.

I send them and I always get compliments and thank yous. We live out of state from all our relatives and don't get go back home often so relatives love seeing recent pictures of the kids. I might shock them this year and include myself in the picture. I've lost almost 70 pounds since they last saw me. Or is that too vain of me?

I don't mind them. Newsletters don't sit well with me because DHs friend and his wife probably put out the most over the top newsletter I have ever read! Lol

I love them. We make sure to include a note and sign them. I mentioned on the thank you thread that it irks me to get them unsighed.
I save them all and scrapbook them every year.

I get a wee bit annoyed when I get Christmas cards without any pictures in them. I love the photos so much! After New Years, I take all the photo cards and picture inserts and cut them up and put them on our bulletin board. The kids love looking at them when they go down that hallway.

I love them.
I notice the past couple of years we've received more postcards than ever before. I'm sure that's due to the high cost of postage. And many people stopped sending because it's too expensive.

Love them. I honestly can't understand why anyone would have an issue with them. We send out Happy Yule ones each year and always get compliments. We have friends and family all over the world I love seeing them all and having a photo.
Postage is so cheap when you honestly think about it. I don't get that either. lol.

I love getting them. We haven't sent any in years because the girls are on their own and not living here. Feels weird to send a picture without them in it. THis year we are doing a photo card but the photo is one that dh took of a nativity in a church that we visited in Italy. It is really beautiful.

Photo cards are my favorite and I especially like them with the. Whole family, not just the kids. U also love the letters. I don't receive many letters but the ones I do are awesome because they come from friends I don't see often
