comments about her on any social media platform, in random overheard conversations and other places are disgusting. In NO way, would a man ever get this treatment. None. I’m exhausted of hearing the names and I can’t imagine how strong she is to put up with it day after day.

It would be exhausting if we talked about Trumps past sex life
This is misogyny rearing it’s ugly head

I agree - the comments on my fb make me shake my head and leave me disgusted. If you have a political difference discuss that - there's no need for racial and sexual slurs.

But there is a need (in their minds) - to put her back in "her place" as a woman and a mixed race woman. They can't stand the idea of all Americans being equal. Sticks in their craw/

I was just reading that Amazon is removing listings of shirts with "Joe and the H** (rhymes with Joe)" on it. What kind of people sell that stuff and worse, who would wear it? Truly disgusting.

So what's the problem? They surely didn't care where dt dipped for all these years and he had to pay them off to boot.... The more I think about it, he had to pay them because their comments would be negative, not much there to see!! And he has dripped far more then most or so it seems................yuck!!
Big rolling eyes!

I guess the same people who proudly wore ‘Killary’ shirts. Deplorables was the right word back then, and it still applies now.

There’s no reason to call Sen Harris a ‘ho’ it’s disgraceful. Should we call Trump a gigalo? Maybe he can use ‘just a gigalo’ for his campaign song? I mean the Russian oligarchs support him...

OKay, he didn't out that one but it came from the WSJ over his spending campaign dollars in hush money, which would be illegal. That's a little different than calling Harris a whore who slept her way to the top. I've seen all kinds of horrific shaming nicknames for her over the last week (Heels-up Harris comes to mind). I really don't see the two as even remotely the same.

The coach of the women’s basketball team here at UofSC was tweeting about how excited she was about Kamala and she used the hashtag “WinWithBlackWomen”. A white woman replied “There’s no black woman running.”
I just about fell out of my chair. What the???

There is also a difference in talking about someone's affairs (particularly with porn stars) as opposed to a normal adult relationships. And to say that is the only way she got where she is.

If you are seeing comments on FB, then you know the perpetrators. We need to call these people out. When I had an acquaintance who implied that Obama was a monkey, instead of doing want I wanted to do (put a whole bunch of nasty words on her page), I asked if that was really the person she wanted to be. I haven't seen one more nasty thing on her FB page. A few right-wing thoughts, but nothing ugly. If she did, then I'd unfriend her, of course, but sometimes we just have to make people think and understand what they're saying. Most of the online comments are trolls. They are out in force now. I am talking specifically about people you know personally who are doing this.

Don’t get me wrong... I wish this wasn’t something that we were having to discuss. But the reality is, she did have a relationship with a man who was married at the time. And, we discussed it when it was Trump, and when it was Clinton.
My personal thoughts are that she was not the one who had made vows, but that’s not a factor for many people. I also think that a marriage is usually long over before the actual divorce, and that’s not a fair parameter to use: it’s not like most people would be okay with someone cheating the day before a wedding, just because the “marriage wasn’t final.”

Possibility: A poster of yore here, Skybar, used to get in quite a lather about Barack Obama not really being Black because he had a white parent. He was being dishonest by identifying as Black. Getting “points” he didn’t deserve. Seriously. Then another very conservative Pea started with the same schtick. Odd. Maybe it’s a right wing umbrage that makes the rounds?

It’s amazing to me that with such a large population to choose from it seems impossible for a candidate to present with zero controversy in their background. This is true in almost every single country. It’s convinced me that those who want to become politicians, and exercise power, are never awesome as people. My opinion only.

I disagree with the fact that she had a consensual adult relationship with someone is controversial. She didn’t take advantage of her position of power to use her partner sexually, she didn’t rape them, she didn’t pay for sex. It’s shouldn’t be a controversy. Women having a consensual sex life shouldn't be a controversy - it isn’t for men until they cross a line ie: sexual harassment, sexual assault, paying for sex, I mean, we barely hold men accountable for those things historically. Men are barely held accountable politically when they cheat on their spouses. She didn’t even cheat. It’s just not a level playing field

I’m guessing that’s what this woman was suggesting. That she’s half Indian and therefore not black. The sheer gall of a white woman explaining to a black woman (the coach) who is black and who is not black is just astounding.

And often it’s the wackos who are quoting - sone of these people are sort of scary, if I knew them I’d be afraid.

Please stop talking about the President’s sex life. It’s inappropriate. Because it’s give me the dry heaves to think about him holding that gigantic stomach up out of the way in order to insert that tiny half-hard penis into anything even remotely resembling a human being.

I should have clarified and added the word “your” in front of Facebook. Clearly you can go on any other page and find information, but then you’re looking for it, and that’s a choice.

Expecting perfection and purity from our candidates helped put Trump in office last time. Let’s not make that mistake again.

People thought that Trump was pure and perfect? Or more pure and perfect than Hillary? I am definitely not judging Kamala's background, totally agree that her ability to lead is probably not negatively affected by her past, but I still find it interesting that most politicians are people that I personally would not want to be friends with. In my mind, no truly awesome people are interested in becoming politicians. We always end up having to choose the least objectionable.
