I've never really gotten into making cards but I'd like to make a few thank you cards today. Please share any inspiration that you think would help a beginner card maker but not a beginner scrapper. Pinterest, blogs, IG, or YT. I have a pretty good stash and a Silhouette. Thanks!
ETA I now realized I should have posted this on the card making board. Hope you all don't mind.

I like watching Vicky Papaioannou on youtube. I follow her for her art journal videos, but I enjoy watching her card making videos too.

Jennifer McGuire on YouTube is my favorite. She is straight to the point, professional and not rambling or selling stuff so much. And she puts out a ton of videos. I don't spend much time watching YouTube but she is probably at least 50% of what I do watch.
On IG, I tend to like the stamp companies for card inspiration...Lawn Fawn, Stampin' Up, Hero Arts, etc. You'll probably get better suggestions from others, I tend to be a fairly light user of IG and YouTube but there is an overwhelming amount of ideas on both so you are looking in the right places!

On YouTube, I like Cathy Zielski and Justine Hovey, but it might depend on your style. Are you looking for clean and simple or something more involved like mixed media?

Lately I'm obsessed with Queen & Co and Kristie Marcotte. I'm and old fan of Vicki P. I love, love, love Sandy Allnock and her artistic backgrounds. As much as Kristina Werner drives me nuts, I do like her cards.

On YT- Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner, Prairie Paper and Ink, Black Sheep 303, Cathy Zielske. I'm usually looking for the technique that I can use in my card making. Then I can use my supplies and apply the techniques.

To this great list I’d add Jeff Lindbergh (Jeff Lindberg Creates). He’s been increasing his presence on social media - makes elegant cards and does terrific interviews.

So I’m finishing off my Christmas cards for family (you should be honored I made sure the peas got cards first!) and have Kristina Werner videos playing to keep me company. In her voice over she points out a mistake she made and then makes sure to tell her audience that she knows and there’s no need to point it out in the comments. It’s stuff like that that just makes me want to unfollow her. Get over yourself. She kinda laughs when she says it, but at the same time she sounds bossy af. She’s incapable of just scrolling by those comments. She can’t help herself from lecturing others on how to behave to suit her.
