I got rid of all my fibers, I hardly ever used them! Now, ribbon, that's another story. I belonged to a swap and we all bought ribbon and cut it into 12" pieces and swapped it all out. I doubt I'll ever use it.
I have about 10 rolls of washi and I'm trying to remember to use it. It does add dimension to my layouts when I add it.

I can't believe I never knew there were ribbon clubs. Even without clubs I have a ton of ribbon, although I always seem to be pulling it out to use on something and the funny thing is it is rarely scrapbook related

The fibres got dumped a couple of years ago. I bought lots of ribbon, managed to sell quite a bit at crop but still have two 12x12 artbins full. Bakers twine I only got about 6 rolls (x2 packs 3 in each pack, just a small meterage on each). Washi I think I have less than 10. I found it really useful for putting on scrappy stuff I was selling at crop (colour coded pricing).

I got rid of most of the fibers. I purged a bunch of ribbon but kept a bunch, too. It used to be my "thing"- I made sure to put some on every layout. I still like it but I forget to use it. I'm a trendy scrapper and since I haven't seen it on too many current layouts I forget about it. When I get my new scrap room I'll make sure to keep it somewhere where I'll use it more.
I do have a ton of washi. I use it quite a bit but I always make sure to put a drop of glue on the ends because some will curl up after awhile. I still use twine a lot, too.
I used to use a lot of embroidery floss and hand sewing on my layouts. I was just looking at all of my old layouts and I really liked where I had done that. Time to get the floss and needle out again.

I purged my fibres some time back - I never really mastered using them. I have a few ribbons but struggle with those as well. I've managed to avoid washi tape - mostly because I figure it'll be another thing that I can't make work on my layouts.

Speaking of ribbons, what is the best adhesive to use? I've tried several, even one that was specifically for ribbons, but it didn't seem to work very well.

Oh my goodness, fibers were my first swap!! I had lots but gave away and recently sold a bin of ribbon that I did not need. I have some washi but really one roll is gonna last forever!

I avoided fibers. But I fell for both ribbon and washi. Twine too, but I use twine and washi for lots of things around the house in addition to just scrapping.

I guess because they weren't used in any classes I took and I wasn't thinking outside the box. Thanks for the great ideas!

I have tons of fibers and I still use them. My ribbon collection is ridiculous and I don't use it even as close to as much as I used to. I loved the Adornments fibers, Making Memories, and another popular brand I cannot think of. I put them all on fiber cards and then wrote the brand name on the cardboard thingy. I am so OCD.

I didn't get into the fibre craze but I do have quite the stash of ribbon. I have a smaller stash of bakers twine and washi. I've used those more often on nonscrappy projects. I like using the washi on clothes pins and attaching a magnet to the back. I've made them for different holidays and seasons.

I was in an eyelets club years ago and every month seasonal eyelets came. I loved it because I got so many different ones.

I have a few fibers in my stash. Never belonged to a ribbon club but I have tons and tons of it. As for washi tape I only have a few rolls of it. Luckily I put myself on a feeze when the trend started or I'd be up the creek with alot of it as well.

I got rid of all my fibers years ago. I do still have a few bits of ribbon but I stopped buying it and washi as much as I love the stuff I have enough now to last me forever. I find that I prefer to use small strips of paper rather than other bits and pieces.

I had tons of fibers and got rid of them. I still have tons of ribbon, but don't use it much. I'm still collecting washi and use it on almost every LO.

I never belonged to a club that did ribbons but did buy way too much back in the day. I have give a lot away and used a bunch for my daughters hairbows. I did pick up some washi tapes but have maybe 20 total.

I belonged to TOO. I honestly forget what it stands for, but it was a ribbon club. It was cool, actually. Came with like three yards of six different ribbons a month? Something like that. That was 2006.
I have many washi. Many. I do use it, now that I have a rainbow collected, but it's something I wish just wasn't so HUGE. Using it a lot still doesn't dwindle the stash, you know?
ETA: I purged all my fibers in 2007 to a friend who loves them. Recently I needed the kind of fabric-y texture they provide and instead of buying some I asked a gal that said she had too many. She purged and entire embroidery box of amazingly textured fibers to me and I'm having a blast using them for mixed media stuff instead of scrapping.

Love bakers twine! I only used ribbon and fibers on tags for little tassels. But I use bakers twine a lot.
Not really into washi tape.

I love ribbon and use it all the time. Not that it helps me make a noticeable dent in my stash. I have a bit of bakers twine and washi too, but never got into fiber. As far as adhering ribbon I use sookwang tape. It comes in various widths and works great. I love that you can just rip off what you need, no scissors needed. I highly recommend it, and it is cheap and lasts a very long time.

Back in the day when you just had to have whatever the trend was, the group of us that scrapped together would all each buy one color, design or whatever of item and then split it up between us (6). That way we got a little every trendy thing but not so overloaded. Good idea, but still too much stuff over time! Never joined any official or mail order club. Some of the other girls did.
I did buy a lot of different colored baker's twine. But I use that a lot of ways. Cards, decorations, wrapping, scrapping and anywhere I could use string.

I have waaaay too much Baker's twine. But that hasn't stopped me from wanting more. I finally figured out that I like the thinner twine. I still like my fibers, but I need to purge the ones I don't like anymore.

and how about that Magic Mesh in all those colors? Do you remember that? Have you ever used yours? I have a Little hanging around and wonder if I'll ever use it- I doubt it

Washi tape is the bomb. I bought a lot (in a short period of time) and now give myself permission to use it all over my house. I actually rarely use it for scrapbooking and cards. I use it on my calendars to mark when people are gone on a trip (me mostly so I don't get the - I didn't know you were gone this weekend - comments). I use it all all all the time to mark leftovers for the frig and freezer. Washi and a sharpie are my friends. I have a dish of washi in the kitchen (duplicates) and everything that needs to get marked, gets washi. It's really helping with my hoard supply! OMG! Marking food containers is brilliant! I have WAY too much washi!!!!!
