HUGE VENT HERE!
I am so tired of watching videos and the items are backwards. Come on - figure out the settings BEFORE you go live. If you're new to doing videos - TEST IT BEFORE HAND.
Why do people doing the videos think this is okay? Especially when they are demo'ing items to sell.
Vent over.

I haven't come across this but I can totally see how that would be annoying.

You could watch them in a mirror.

I don't think I have seen these. Now I want to see one.

Yep, super annoying, with live process videos too. Sometimes I don’t realize it until they start adding titles or word embellishments.

Based on videos that I have seen, it has to do with the camera setting where you change it from the regular camera setting (taking pictures of something you see) to the selfie setting. The selfie setting seems to be what shows writing in reverse.

I think it's kind of funny when you are watching a driver and they are on the right side of the car.

I completely agree! I'm so thankful for those that take the time to share a tutorial but will switch it off if stuff is backwards. I wish I knew why they publish them this way???

I wish I knew why they publish them this way??? The ones I’ve seen were doing a live video. They did change it soon after they realized it was backwards. In each case, they had no one to help them do the video work. They were doing their own video while doing the tutorial, and they used the selfie option for a short time at the beginning. I am grateful they are taking the time to do the video in the first place. If the video is free, which it has been in each case of the videos that I have seen, then I wouldn’t expect them to do it over before posting. It was live, so it gets posted exactly as it happened, mistakes and all.

Lol...I have thought of that: "Wait. What?" And then I realize they must have a backward video, because I know they are in California.

Tim Holtz latest Facebook live starts mirror image He states that in the video as the phone is in selfie mode when he is speaking. It's in regular mode when he demos. No biggie.

I’d rather everything be in reverse than the camera be flipped around so the person filming can’t ensure what they’re doing is in view the whole time.
