I would be curious what doctors say about this. After all, there have been studies about this med. The source of the article is a little suspect to me. Isn’t it more likely that the z-pak was helpful? Are you ok with the of deaths so far?

CBS released a poll this morning that was taken between 8-19-2020 to 8-21-2020. linkThe question.. The number of deaths from COVID-19 has been R. D. Independent Acceptable 57%. 10%. 33% Not Acceptable. 43%. 90%. 67% Another question - Is America better off than 4 years ago? All Voters. Republicans Yes. 35%. 75% No 65% 25% Question for Republican Voters only.. Why is America Better Off today? Confidence in trump. 82% Economy. 70% Democrats not in power. 70% Own Family Finances. 64% The take away from just these couple of questions is if you are a Republican, it’s acceptable that over 170,000 Americans have died from a virus in 6 months. And America is better off today than 4 years ago, even though we are in the middle of a pandemic with high unemployment that could possibly change how we live our lives for years. And the reason the Republicans feel they are better off is because they have confidence in trump. Bunch of self centered, selfish fucks.

My guess is that 100% of the 57% have not lost a loved one from COVID-19.

I remember when the loss of 4 people in Benghazi was worth multiple investigations.

I read the comments every day on the local Covid stats page from my red state, and I suspect most of the “acceptables” fall into the “They are people who would have died anyway.” or “The statistics are all fake!” or “This whole thing is going to mysteriously go away November 3.” camps. You can pair that with my suspicion that the people who are actually called for/take surveys are the same ones who post on the stats threads frequently.

30 - 40 people die most days from COVID, in the state where I live. If there was a new multi-car accident every day on the Interstate that killed that many people, everybody would freak out. But who cares if a bunch of geezers and poor people die? /s
The pandemic has crushed my belief in the goodness of many of the people in this country.

How do you even answer “acceptable” to that poll question without an ounce of self-disgust or reflection? I can’t fathom it. and I’ve been called for those political/social issue polls before, and I’m always trying to get them to clarify the questions for me. Nope. No clarification, the question is what it is, and you have to decide how you want to answer. So all those people who responded that the deaths are acceptable have no excuse. They chose to say acceptable when asked about the deaths, all on their own. How nuts do you have to be?

This is one of the most disturbing polls I have ever read. This has to be wrong. No one could be this evil.
