Tim’s new colour is Crackling Campfire. I was hoping for a redder red, but can already envision the cool autumn effects I could get with this one.
Havent ordered yet. Have you?

I pre-ordered one. I think it's pretty but I like last time's better. It's hard to top that shade of blue.

No I’m not. It isn’t calling to me.
I don’t really love the larger ink pads anyway and the square ones fight my storage lol

I like it and will be ordering. It looks like just the right shade of red-orange for fall.

I think it's really pretty. It's the color of all of my grandchildren's red hair. That could come in handy!

I happened to have an order that I was putting together today so I went ahead and threw it in my basket, the Oxide version. I'm trying something different this year for Christmas cards so we'll see if it works!

I would like to get the Oxide version, but I can't place an online order just for that one thing so I'll have to wait until I need a few more things. I love it and I wish I didn't have to wait, but I can't justify placing an order large enough to justify the shipping right now.

I think a true red is going to be difficult to work within Tim's branding. Wet techniques would make it look like blood and while maybe good for spooky Halloween projects, I don't think that's actually the goal for most companies. I actually never bought any red mists solely because I knew that anything done in that color would look like blood and there isn't anything that I would make wanting that look, lol.

When I first started watching the video, I liked the color but thought do I really need it? Would I use it? Then the sea horse card was shown and that pushed me to hit the buy now button.

I ordered it! It is actually a red orange, not red. I love the beautiful color and how it has shades of yellow in it. It matches up great with brown, blue, yellow, orange, red, green. Plus it looks awesome with purple and black for Halloween! You should watch the video as he does the swatches with the other orange colors and you get a really good idea how it compares to other oranges. That helps me to see the difference.

I ordered the distress and oxide ink pads and the glaze. I love this color - much more than the last one.

I can see this filling the gap where a red-orange was missing from the Distress line. I will probably wait until there is a mini regular ink set with the new colors. Good release for fall. I really loved the last color though! Still don’t have that one either.

I will definitely have. Waiting on a couple more items though to justify. I like to order from scrapbook, com.

No! I’m disappointed with the color. It’s not necessary and too like the other colors.

I’ve got the Ink, Oxide, and pin ordered. It’s a gorgeous fall color! What do you do with the pins? Do you display them somewhere decoratively or do you use them organizationally to somehow know what colors you have? Sort of a tangent but I wonder about these pins and the Doodlebug (I think) pins. As for the new color, I’m on the fence. I have at least one orange already and I tend to prefer the cooler colors, so the last blue color release was more up my alley.

I have a bulletin board in my scrapbook room that I display them on. Mostly I have the Doodlebug pins and pins from The Gray Muse. They make me happy to see them all together on the board. As the weather gets cooler, I’ll put some on my denim jacket. I bought locking pin backs so they won’t fall off.

I had to laugh (albeit sort of ironic, crazed laugh) when I saw what it was called because I'm currently evacuated from my home in the Santa Cruz mountains because of wildfires. My house is still standing, but the fires consumed most of the houses on my street so I think it will work for the pages I'm doing to document the horror. It looks very much like the color of the flames in photos taken by local press agents.

Looking forward to seeing what "real" people make with the new colour. Have to admit it looked better in the video than I had expected.
Those who already have it in your hands: do you have the distress or the oxide version? I love the way oxides blend and what they do when spritzed with lots of water, but am often disappointed when trying to get full colour with them. Thinking if I want a vibrant orange I should go for distress?
