You may know all of these techniques, but I liked the refresher on those I knew and discovered some products I might "need". Makes me want to get messy! How about you?

I know nothing about creating card backgrounds! That's a cool video! While I'm not much of a card maker, I love getting ideas for scrapbooking. Especially for my family album where I use pocket pages. I think it would be fun to make backgrounds for journal cards.

I am always looking for ideas. I found an Explosion card, and made an explosion page. It's in the Galley.

So I checked out the video but unfortunately I didn't see the technique that I'm trying to replicate. Does anyone know how to, or has a video they can link to, that has the dots on the blended background? I know it's oxides, and I know how to blend and all that, I just am not sure how they get the little dark dots to splatter on there. It's not sprayed with water as that's a different look so I'm kind of at a loss. Please and thank you. I'll attach a picture to show what I mean.

I have seen people using copic markers to color a scene and add texture to them. It called dot coloring I made a card like that. Let me see if I can find you a video. This is a new video youtu.be/u0D5EkW2CDY This is from 2015 and shows her coloring animals and grass. youtu.be/y2XAu5T2Dq0
