I had ordered this pad off JA website with the recent sale and found this video using it to make a winter layout..I really liked the video and thought I'd share, it is a great LO idea, easily adaptable. I like how you can use up some scraps!

That is very cute.
I love the circle idea. Although I am not a fan of all the multiple pieces of layering for one photo.
I have the We R Memory Keepers circle cutter, during the mandatory shut down, I spent some time cutting various size circles from some (4 of each sheet) paper pad paper. As well as matting for photos(I usually don't layer more than two pieces of paper. I mixed and match patterns. I am excited to use my circles on a layout.

Although I am not a fan of all the multiple pieces of layering for one photo. I totally agree! If this was my page, it would have at least 2 more pics on it. I don't generally do 1 photo LO, unless that is the only photo I have of whatever it is, and that is rare!

Great video! I love how short it was.
Why have I never thought to use silver rhinestones on snow layouts?

I love the look of this kind of layout, but it's rare that I'll be able to make one. The single page layout on my table right now has 16 photos, with little more than a 4x6 space left over for my title and journaling It's a beautiful collection. I was eyeballing it awhile ago, but still have too much winter paper in my stash to justify buying more. Having said that, it's really hard to find a winter line that's not Christmas based, and most of the papers in this one are pretty usable for customers like me.

Oh my! I’m a layerer (heehee). I use upwards of 4-5 layers sometimes, although it’s usually only 2-3. My embellishments OTOH are layered like crazy.
I scrap anything from 1-28 photos on a 1-2 of spread. I just scrap however many photos it takes to tell the story. Sometimes one is all it takes.
This LO is pretty cute!

LOVE this! Thanks for sharing, @kendramage. I have an EK Success "curvy cutter" which is a couple of sizes of circle tracks with a blade. Use it alot. Worried, though, that my last blade is getting a bit dull... I often scrap a bunch of photos on one page and then just one on the facing page. I am always looking for ideas of how to layer (ask myself "How would KikiPea do this ...), and I really like the way they did the two clusters for opposite corners of the photo, arranged them, then STAPLED them together so they could be glued down all together! My clusters don't always get stuck down the way I had planned them b/c by the time I lift everything up I forget how they were supposed to look. What can I say? I am old...

I scrapbook 8.5 x 11, so the largest I make is 6 or 7 inches. It took a little trial and error, for me to figure out how to use it.

So I just got my JA order, and I will say, if you can get this for 4.69 (that's what I paid during the sale) it is so so worth it. The colors are deep and rich, and I think it will have a lot of uses for things other than Christmas or winter. That said, there are also a couple pages with little tags and sayings, perfect for "clusters"-which I am still trying to learn how to do after all this time, lol. And grammadee you are not old! I forget what my layers are supposed to look like all the time..I thought the staple was genius.

Lots of patterned paper and the number of photos varies. Usually if I want to do one picture, I'll make it larger. I keep trying to add a photo, but this site has been telling me this forum site will not allow any more pictures. Grrrr.

It says it everytime I try and add a picture. Which is a bummer because I was really exciting about showing my October/November Daily album.

And you can't get the 6x6 for that price either! Good deal !

Great video! I love how short it was. Why have I never thought to use silver rhinestones on snow layouts? Thank you for mentioning that it was short! I am always clicking on videos only to find that they’re a 20 min commitment... 2 minutes, I can do right now. Really pretty. And I liked that you didn’t have to use any fancy equipment. A plate, some scissors.

Does anyone remember how to delete their attachments from the past? I remember the board was full a couple of years back and we were told how to go into our accounts and delete all the old shares that no one would care about any more. I don’t think I have many to delete, but it sounds like we all need to see what we can remove so we can start adding attachments again.
I usually post things via Flickr, and I know Tapatalk photos don’t take up space on the board.

Go to your original post and click EDIT, then Edit attachments and delete image(s). I've started posting my photos/LO's straight from Facebook. That way it doesn't take up data space from here.

I wish they could just set it up to auto delete the oldest images, as space is needed for new images.

I’m just wondering if there’s a shortcut to find which posts have images attached to them. There's no shortcut that I'm aware of. I wish they could just set it up to auto delete the oldest images, as space is needed for new images. I saved this from someone on NSBR...I haven’t tried it myself but hopefully it works to make it easier to delete. .... Just in case anyone doesn't know the drill, here are some instructions. I'm always happy to help if they aren't clear. - Click Search, and in the first What to Search field, type "attachment". - Under Who to Search, in the first field type your own Id. That will give you a list of posts. - Open the post in a new tab (to keep your list, otherwise you have to keep running the search again) and click Edit, then Edit attachment (that's really important - if you just delete your photos from the thread, the attachments will still be there) and Delete. - I usually edit my original post with {deleted to save space} so that people don't wonder where the photos are. - Then Save. ETA: Photos uploaded using the Add Attachment button are stored on this forum so those are the ones that need removing. Photos uploaded via Tapatalk don't take up space on this forum, because they link to storage elsewhere. Pictures linked using the Link icon are also OK.

No idea if there’s a different way.
