Did you know that you can fill an empty Copic marker (I bought a new one just for this) with Gamsol so you can blend your water color pencils easier? I LOVE this! Why did I not do this before?

Yes I did, been using it for about a month now. One thing I did find, the tip tends to hold a lot of the gamsol so I keep a piece of scrap paper handy to tap of the excess and to use to clean the tip between colors.

How is using gamsol different from blending watercolor pencils with just water?

I've only used Gamsol with my regular colored pencils. It blends them very well.
