I'm confused on this part of your post: scrapbook for my cousin who is a man of his life Are you looking for suggestions for a male scrapbooker? If so, what are his interests, hobbies? Is he more into the masculine aesthetic?

I have recently started purchasing papers and embellishments for a scrapbook for my cousin who is a man of his life. I'm thinking it's typos and she meant scrapping for a cousin who has a man in his life. But I could be wrong. And I think EP has some masculine lines if that's the kind of paper you're needing. But I'm not sure of any other lines, I'm mostly a pink and girly scrapper.

I think the OP left out some commas. I think she wants to make a scrapbook of her cousin’s life. Her cousin is a man. I’m confused about what help she’s asking for. Do you want help choosing supplies on a budget?

Do you want help choosing supplies on a budget? That’s my assumption, too. I think she is asking for suggestions as to what papers a man would like for a scraobook of his life. I have 4 boys. I use a lot of plaids, stripes, solids, and anything that doesn’t look girly next to the photos. I personally feel it’s far better to take photos with me when picking the papers.

I really like Cocoa Vanilla Studios collection called “Legendary.” It’s great for men and boys!

Since you want to do a book for your cousin about his life, do you want to follow a certain theme throughout or do you want to scrap the pictures thematically? Example, for school photos do you want school papers? Or do you want to just use a general theme throughout?
I would suggest using plaids. There are many nice lines of plaids right now and they can allow you to use the colors in the plaids for themes, like Christmas, Fall, School, or whatever you like.
Carta Bella, Ella and Viv have plaids and if you have a Michaels or Hobby Lobby they have a pad of plaids I'm sure.

Maybe she decided not to do an album, buy an album, or the cousin is not the man of his life anymore?
