This is my 3rd September Donna challenge, and with that I am going to change it up a bit. I have been scrapping a little bit and I have done some pages about the signs of the times. I took photos of store signs, empty shelves, distancing signs in restaurants, 6ft signs on the floor, and highway signs about staying home.
This month's challenge is to do a layout about the signs of the times. You are challenged to not only scrap a layout, but to go take photos if you haven't already, and capture the signs you see in your daily life related to the pandemic. If you just don't go out, perhaps a newspaper, or screen shot of a zoom meeting or facetime, or your online delivery order.
Near the end of Donna's life, she was too sick to go out and in a way, we are all living what she lived in having everything thing change from what we have always done. This challenge will get you 5 points per page, so a 2 page layout is 10 points, and one additional point for every photo you scrap this month.
And stay safe and healthy!

Thanks for the inspiration, myboysnme. I took quite a few photos of signs yesterday on my trip to the doctor appointment, but haven't printed them yet. While in the city, I visited a LSS. We were all masked, and the shopping experience was definitely different from in the past. I had made a list from their website, and basically told the clerk what I was looking for. She went and got it for me, I paid, and was out of there in less than 15 minutes... This LO does not have any signs in it, but it definitely represents a sign of the times: kids' boarding school buses in MASKS! And i got to use a couple of pieces from the "New Normal" collection I picked up yesterday: It's TIME by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

kids' boarding school buses in MASKS Yes! Perfect layout. I wonder what the kids will remember about these times when they are our ages.

I think these qualify as signs of the times... Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I'm always taking photos of signs that things are not normal. I love signs, both literal and figurative. I think about the folks who are already sick and have been even further locked down by this virus, who are truly afraid for their lives whenever they need groceries or to go to the doctor. We had a relative die in November (from diabetes and heart trouble) in a facility that is now at the center of an outbreak, and the thought of how we would've felt trying to keep her safe but also not being able to bring her home without putting her in danger... it's a huge worry so many people are dealing with.

Thanks for the challenge myboysnme , here is my LO. It's a double whammy - first signs of spring, and sign of the times by wearing a mask.
