I've had Hulu Live since I quit cable a couple or 3 years ago. I have it predominately for HGTV and BRAVO - I have a digital antenna so I get all the networks except for ABC.
Well, I don't watch HGTV any more (there's nothing worth watching IMO), and very, very rarely watch BRAVO, so I am considering just going to regular Hulu. If I want I can pull up CNN (which is very rare and only happens if there is something "big" going on) on my computer if need be.
Have you switched, and if so, any regrets? The savings is considerable. I know I can try it and change back if I want, but just wondering if I'm not thinking it through adequately first. The only thing I'm re-watching on Hulu right now is Desperate Housewives and I assume that it's available on regular Hulu?
Care to share your thoughts, thank you!

The only difference is commercials and having to wait a day for new shows to air right? I’ve only ever had the cheap version. And I only got it for their original shows like The Handmaids Tale. Id think as long as you don’t mind waiting a day and aren’t bothered by a quick commercial every 15 minutes you should be good. Plus you just always switch back if you miss the premium version.

You can get commercial free Hulu. That’s what I had before switching to Hulu Live. The only bummer about regular Hulu is that if you do decide to watch something from Bravo it is always a season behind. But if that doesn’t bother you I would switch.

Have you looked into SlingTv? The blue plan is just $30/mo and includes Bravo. We've just switched from Hulu Live to YouTube TV. So far so good. It gives us BBC World News and my local PBS station and is a little less expensive. While I can get PBS with the digital antenna, I can't record shows so that is a plus for YouTube. Going to try this for a month or so and see how it works out.

I have ad-free Hulu and DH has Hulu Live (long story...) but I use mine for rewatching old shows and watching new shows from ABC/NBC/Fox. The new shows are available the next day which is fine for me, I just have to be careful of certain headlines when something big happens for a popular show. The rest of the family watches a lot on Hulu Live, but I only switch to it when I want to watch a Cubs game.

If you wait until Black Friday, HULU usually has a special. Last year It was $2 a month for the year and year before it was a $1 a month for the year. It might not happen this year. This was the version with commercials.

I know nothing about YouTube to be honest, but the ability to record or rewatch PBS would be nice. I love the Live at Lincoln Center series.

I watch them from my antenna 80% of the time but will need to check to see if those other 20% would be affected.
