We are getting a stretch of fall-like weather here in Minnesota. I love it, but gosh, I am worried about how to see friends once winter hits. I don't think we'll be social distancing on my patio. Although, that would make a great layout!
My hydrangea trees are in full bloom. The butterflies and bees love them. I am trying to get great shots of the butterflies. So far I have OK shots.

I have just one little hydrangea flower left on mine. We've had a few bad storms in the last few weeks. A small tornado even blew through the northeast corner of our little town! I'm glad to have fall coming soon too. I just dropped DD17 off for her first day of her senior year. We we're running late, so no time for a photo, but she promised me one when she gets home. I got an order in from ACOT yesterday, including a bunch of individual sheets of Amy Tangerine's Late Afternoon. So pretty for fall layouts. I'm really excited to use it.

I am getting ready to go with my mom to the jersey shore and have't scrapped last year's trip yet. Since we have gone every Sept for the last 5 years I don't take many pictures that I print anymore. I can do maybe 3-4 pages 8.5x11 because things don't change much year to year. I always try to get pics of me and my mom because those memories are priceless.
DH and DS1 are back to teaching but things are so up in the air. So far they are going to teach virtually from their classrooms, so that will make for interesting back to school photos, if we even get any.
DGD will soon be 20 months old and I am so far behind on her second year of life. I got up to Dec and Jan of her first year as she turned one, and still have random layouts to complete those months. From Feb forward to now it's gotten to be a page here and there. I need my scrapping opportunities to return!

I hope to get a lot of scrappy stuff done in September! I too am a chronological scrapper... and currently ten years behind, LOL. I hope to make up for lost time by scrapping most evenings this month.

Have a great time.

Would anyone happen to know if we should be expecting any more new paper releases between now and Creativation in January?
I'm thinking all the Valentine's collections would drop at some point, right?

First day of school photos sure looked different this year.
My teen took a selfie for me. I love that they included the chromebook.
I took a pic of the two younger kids sitting at the dining room table with the chromebooks & their headphone/microphone combo.
No uniforms. No bookbags.

Thanks! We go to Stone Harbor. We stay in a motel with a kitchenette and living room and eat most all meals in, spend late morning at the shops, then nap, then beach time. My mom is 85 and she's been going to Stone Harbor since she was a child. When my stepdad died a few years ago they had their reservation so I went with her and now it's our thing.

How nice Stone harbor is beautiful. They have a nice bird sanctuary at the wetlands institute. Have a great vacation.

How is it I am retired and still struggle to find enough play time?
I have some old photos I want to scrapbook today and it's already after 5 pm.

I have no idea what spawned it but I spent today ( instead of scrapping ) configuring and printing my Jan-June 2021 Memory planner. I have changed orientation so my weeks are vertical columns for each day. Well I started anyway I am up to March.
Maybe I am just done with 2020 and want to look ahead?
