Happy first day of Fall to all the northern hemisphere Peas! Being born and raised a southern girl (Tennessee), I couldn't resist making a card today using this fun happy fall, y'all sentiment. LOL All the details are on my blog.

A few Christmas cards from me. What can I say? I opened that cupboard! Well, first I bought a new die and some new alcohol inks I needed to try out... Christmas tree edger by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Then I opened up my Photo Play card kit. This was one of the cards: holiday cheer by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And this was one that was begging to be made with papers they DIDN't use in their instructions: gnome for the holidays by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I also picked up some gorgeous P13 winter papers a couple of weeks ago. Used some of the woodgrain from the 6x8 pad here, plus a cute diecut from PhotoPlay Not a Creature was Stirring: Baby it's cold by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Merry Christmas!
POINTS: four cards created & shared (8). @ 15 easy peasy points each (60). Total: 68

Back from our bday road trip, and got a LO done yesterday. It's a combo of one of our September sketches (#19), and one from Paper Issues!

Your cards, as usual, are gorgeous, CoffeeCrafter. I especially love the purples in that Fall themed one. Great photos, KikiPea. Great that those two could pose together with their balloons! The boot/hat/rope embellishment cluster is really cool, and I plan to steal that layered torn large mat idea! Off to Flickr to look at your cards, azcrafty...

I finished off the panda paper that gmcwife1 swapped with me. 17 cards, plus the other two I made the other day. Not a bad yield from an envelope full of card front sized pieces of patterned paper. I kept them simple but as usual I was experimenting trying to find the look I liked so they're almost all slightly different. Some tone-on-tone heat embossing, but mostly my favorite - patterned paper and hello die cuts. Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Here's a card I created for the LDRS blog today. I did some ink blending through a stencil to create the plaid background. I colored the image with my Copic markers. All the details are on the LDRS blog. And now for something complete different. Don't anyone faint or anything, but I actually worked on a memory keeping project last night and today. Whaaaaat? 😂 I saw a video of a folio designed by Kathy King of Paper Phenomenon and absolutely loved it. I bought the tutorial and decided to give it a go. Between all the cutting, scoring, applying Scor-Tape, burnishing, recutting and doing it again due to mistakes, and assembly, I spent a total of 10 hours between last night and this morning getting it all put together. There are lots of mistakes, but I think I did OK for my first time out. I recorded a video showing a walk-through of the folio. grammadee - How should I count this? I'm thinking 10 hours of other crafting since it's not actual layouts, but the construction?

Gorgeous colours in that plaid, CoffeeCrafter ! Checking out your video now.
ETA That is a LOT of careful work there! I would say claim your other crafts points per hour for this construction. Later, when you decorate the pages and add the photos, you could claim it page by page!

I didn’t have any Vicki Boutin Foundations paper, so I used one of her premade backgrounds, and got the circle idea from a FB Live on Paper Issues by Lacey Robin. I used Vicki’s art crayons and a Solo cup to make the circles. The Paw Patrol things are images I got off the internet, printed and hand cut.

KikiPea! What an AWESOME birthday LO!!! Love all the bright colours and the Paw Patrol guys. And the circles! I actually used a water bottle cap today with VB crayons to stamp some circles on a background pattern. Mine were not as bright as yours--actually close to the colour of the stars I was stamping--but it's a fun technique and I will probably use it again.

Thanks, Dee! I probably won't get around to adding the photos until next month. I'm waiting for a new supply of ink/paper for my Selphy to arrive and it's not scheduled to get here until the first week of October.

Fabulous layout KikiPea! I am very low (2 pages) on foundations paper and my LSS has it ordered, but it didn't arrive with Vicki's new "Storyteller" line so AC is obviously behind in production I did this layout based on Sketch #21 sketch #21 by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I can't share what I've been working on today since part of it is for CARDtober and the other is for the October SheetLoad of Cards collaboration team. For the latter, I will share I've been die cutting a lot of tiny "flutterbies." 🦋 That's what my almost 29 year old nephew called butterflies when he was a toddler.

Seven simple cards using my brand-new embossing folder (from the Spellbinders sale) - I'm so proud of myself for actually using it right away - and scrap cardstock and some old PP from my Autumn folder I don't see me using on layouts.

I did a couple of pages in my Storyline Chapters virus diaries. This doomscrolling page has a flip up thingy on the side for the Jul and Aug Persnickety printable timelines, space behind for September's when in comes out. Then an article I cut from Wired magazine and a bunch of headlines and news snippets I've been collecting lately. I saved myself typing them by dictating them into my iPad, spell checking, and then copy pasting into PS. Sept share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I also have a page I'll share in the Donna challenge - made a template to print the page in one piece. This is my layout for the September Donna Challenge, Sign of the Times. There are two "signs" themes here - first signs of spring, and sign of the times by wearing a mask. I used the kit I put together for the DIY kit challenge a couple of months ago, recoloured to add blossom pink and wattle yellow.

AussieMeg - gorgeous gorgeous spring layout. The woodgrain background just adds that perfect touch. I think that's where I struggle most as a paper scrapbbooker. I need more of those backgrounds because I love the interest, but when purchasing supplies you don't want to buy things you might not use, and just create an even bigger stash... joblackford - your journal is so satisfying, so perfect, from the content to the design to your handwriting and printing! linda - what rich cards! Beautiful. This is my creating for ComplicatedLady 's sketch of Sept. 13. I'm finding these sketches are resulting in some layouts that feel very very different from my normal - good to stretch that creative muscle and helps me decide what it is I like and don't like! double the screen time by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Love that #coffeecrafter! Rainbows and coffee. Doesn't get better than that I managed another layout today in the google hangout. This is based on page 1 of sketch #17, but I turned the angled "rays" in the other direction to mimic the teepees. I really like how it came out. I intended to make the rays out of various pps and keep the background white, but when I made my template pieces and put them on top of the bright background, I loved it this way! teepee twins by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I spent a couple of hours today cleaning my craft room and organizing a new paper collection I purchased. Now that I've dipped my toe into memory keeping and made a "test run" folio, I've decided to create an album to document the transatlantic cruise to Europe I took with my BFF and several friends. For me, it was my celebratory "trip of a lifetime" in honor of my 50th birthday. I thought this new Ephemera Queen collection from Graphic 45 would be perfect for the album since visiting Paris for the first time was the highlight of the trip for me. I purchased the entire collection with the exception of the chipboard elements as they were currently sold out. I'm not sure I would want them for my album anyway as it seems it would add quite a bit of bulk. The only place I might consider using them would be on the cover. Anyway, here's a look at part of the collection. I purchased the coordinating 12x12 Patterns and Solids pack, but apparently forgot to take a photo of it. The 12x12 paper (I also got the 8x8 pack as well since the scale is different on it.) The sticker sheets The journaling and ephemera cards (LOVE the vintage postcard look on the b side)

Page 5 love! CoffeeCrafter your cards are just so beautiful! Those birds are so cute and your coloring is spot on! That zebra is the cutest! And the bright strips set him off. I love the leather look of the browns you use on the Grateful for you card. All of your cards are so amazingly beautiful!! Linda I really like that LOVE page! It doesn’t look busy to me at all! You are loved - beautiful work! I would never have noticed the triangles if you hadn’t mentioned it. We are our own worst critics. I really really love what you are doing with the lists. TN’s are something I want to try and I like seeing what you are doing with yours. Your least favorite words list made me laugh - I hate the word tatas and ain’t is not a word , that was drilled into me too. Even though it’s in the dictionary now I seldom use it lol. Don’t ask about curse words though lol. KikiPea that random LO is awesome! I love the stitching! September Rain is simply gorgeous! There is love in the gallery for everyone who posts there!

I thought this might be the last of the Super Hero series of LOs, but alas, it is is not lol. Armored Avenger by Joyfulnana, on Flickr
