So we will see if this month brings new goodies or if they just continue to send out everything from the warehouse that was closed.

One of my stores had an entire cart filled with paper pads and kits. Lots of Authentique, Simple Stories, Echo Park, and Photoplay. Several new DCWV pads. They also had a few 6 x 6 pads and some 6 x 8 pads. Some were repeats from previous shipments and some were new. They also had quite a few of the $ 4.99 add ons that had stickers, washi, and designer paper clips for several of the lines. My other store got about 1/3 of the shipment, but I found the cutest Vacay paper from PhotoPlay. It was the 25 pack of paper.

Am I the only one who never shops here? When I was in high school, we had one pretty close to my school, and my mom went there often. For me, it is just a store that I have been to for years.

Am I the only one who never shops here? I do all the time. Not just for scrap supplies but I have found awesome home décor and kitchen organizing supplies. Also high quality towels that don't cost an arm and a leg. My favorite thing about TM is that, from week to week, the inventory is always different. Kinda like a treasure hunt. You just never know what you'll find.

Am I the only one who never shops here? I only make it in a couple of times a year - there isn't one close by but there's one in the plaza with Traders Joes and Target (not near us either but the closest to us) so when we go to Target for back to school shopping and Christmas shopping, we go to TM and TJ also. Which means we haven't been since December (no back to school shopping this year - we shopping online)

Am I the only one who never shops here? If there was one closer to me, I'd go more often. It's basically a Big Lots store on a smaller scale.

Haha I know what the store is I just choose not to shop there (at least not very often). The closest one to me is 2 hours away and is on the smaller side with not much for craft supplies. It just isn't on my radar of stores to hit when I'm in the area.

It seems the delays are attributed to several factors, including a global pandemic, the various stages of reopening in states across the country that has affected buying & delivery channels, & the company's consolidation of warehouses into one central location. It's also my understanding from a clerk that a new trucking company was hired, which has changed the weekly schedules of many stores. The previous delivery company had TM inventory sitting in trucks scattered across the country because they struggled to find drivers as stay at home orders were relaxed/lifted at different times. Locating & accounting for all the inventory, then finding another trucking company capable of delivering products nationwide was time consuming. She indicated they hope to find a new normal schedule by the first of the calendar year!

My friend has a toddler who only likes the little creature blankets I can find there on occasion. They are $3.99 there and online they are upwards of $20. The blankets are only about one foot square, so the $20 price tag is too much. I also find stuff for the bathroom and interesting food items I generally like there.

Our delivery days have remained the same even though once in a while they might get a late truck.

I stopped in today and was surprised to see lots of 0820 tags. I only got a few things - Jen Hadfield My Bright Life cardstock stickers, SS So Happy Together 6x8 paper pad, and MME World Traveler 12x12 paper pad. I swore I'd be frozen for the month but since my local TM closed and the nearest one is 45 minutes away I couldn't pass up the chance.

I haven’t been able to go since they’ve closed all the ones in Jersey. Huge bummer for me

The TM -- the only one in my city -- that was five minutes from my office was shut down a month or so ago.

I usually just go to look for Thickers (I have an idea for a future scrapbook that will require various sets, and they seem to have them for relatively decent prices compared to Michaels and other sites, but there were none to be had. I did pick up a small Echo Park fall-themed set (I can't say no to anything fall, I swear )... Also discovered they have a very small clearance section, but didn't find anything there.

The scrap aisle was as bare as I’ve ever seen it. I think they clearanced out a lot of stuff. But they did have a few new things. I picked up an echo park pack & a 6x8 simple stories Sunshine and Blue Skies. They had virtually no embellishments. I’m trying to be a bit more thoughtful in my purchases, but I did feel like the prices have gone up while browsing.

The closest store to me is about a hour away but I had to be in the area yesterday so stopped in. It was depressing, so many empty shelves and this store isn’t on the list of closings. I did manage to get a small birthday stamp set, a 6x6 paper pad, some foam tape and a script alphabet die set. The letters are only 3/4” tall so great for cardmaking.

...I did feel like the prices have gone up while browsing. I’ve found prices are higher on some newer inventory, such as a 100-sheet multicolored Bazzill pack was $14.99 recently & $6.99 pre-pandemic. ...a script alphabet die set. The letters are only 3/4” tall so great for cardmaking. I saw these .67” Momenta uppercase script alpha dies at one location for $6.99. Note the same set was sold at TM in March for $3.99 & is on clearance at our local Hobby Lobby for $3.49! Similarly, TM is selling 1.5” Momenta uppercase script alphabet dies for $12.99 currently, but the exact set was $4.99 pre-pandemic. www.scrapbook.com/store/mba-38360.html

I noticed that the 6x6 paper pad price went up from 2.99 to 3.99. Still better than the regular 6.99 or more regular price, though.

We’re getting a Hobby Lobby locally but it doesn’t open until later this month. Prices are crazy aren’t they, it pays to shop around.

I stopped by mine yesterday and it definitely got some new inventory with 8/20 and 9/20 stickers in addition to clearanced older items. I got Simple story Sunshine and Blue Skies snap cards for $3.99, two Ecko Park Collection packs- the travel one and Bewitched. I also got an old Pink Paislee Holiday album, some Kelly items. I am glad to see some revival.

There was a cute little stamp sheet from Happy Planner. The comp price was $14.99 and they were selling for $9.99-so not even 50% off. Obviously I passed. But even when it gets clearanced it’s no deal.

I stopped at the San Jose store and was shocked at the number of empty shelves and lack of merchandise. There were signs taped up everywhere saying something like "don't worry, we're not closing, we're just having temporary problems getting inventory". There were probably less than 50 food items, total. I'm talking maybe 7 jars of pasta sauce, three boxes of pasta, maybe 8-10 low sugar drink syrups and some type of boxed candy I'd never seen before.
The paper craft aisle had less in it than my stash. OK, that's hyperbole, but it was pretty unimpressive.

According to haul videos on YT, there should be some new stash coming. I saw quite a few new fall and winter/Christmas Echo Park packs on the videos. I do not need anymore of those papers.

I must be blind because I can’t see anywhere on the website how to do a product search. It’s been so long since I’ve done so. I thought you used to have to call and I did, but there’s no automated option to do so. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

She has so many great ideas for that size of pad.

I thought you used to have to call and I did, but there’s no automated option to do so. Can anyone point me in the right direction. They no longer have that as an option. Last year, they took the option away from employees looking up info for you and then several months later, they took it away from customers. I was told that it was something they cut because of costs. Who knows.
