Oops! I just posted a slimline challenge, too. I apologize. I hadn’t seen your post yet, or I probably would not have posted mine. I’ll figure out a way to make mine different or something.

I made some from scraps to send out as my weekly letters - I'm primarily a scrapbooker not a cardmaker so these are much simpler than the awesome creations you all share over here.

No problem, her cards are usually A2 sized. I guess she wanted to get on the craze too. The more is the merrier.

Thanks for the sheetload challenge, azcrafty. I had wanted to try slimline cards. I like some of the examples I have seen. It seems like there is slightly more room to tell a story. I like the card you sent to your friend - the animals went to the fair and have the photo memories to show how much fun they had. Here is my sheetload of slimline cards.

jjpeapea I love the cheerful colors of your cards. The pp matches perfectly with your teacups. Are the teacups a die or did you fussy cut them from a pp? Hmm...now i want a cup of the😉

Hmm...now i want a cup of the😉 Ha, ha I did a lot better job remembering to match the papers than the August sheetload. I just got a Cricut Explore Air 2 last week, so I definitely wanted to put it to use. I used a cup from the "From my Kitchen" image set but it took me a loooong time to figure out how to eliminate the coffee pot from the image. I'm still learning the program. I think when I send the cards I will put a teabag in, so my friends can share a cup of tea virtually.

Thanks for posting this azcrafty. I made 6 early in the month and have the paper ready for 6 more, but haven't started them yet. I decided to just post the 6. I love what you did with the Halloween images. You have love in the gallery. Linda, I love that you used your scraps to make your cards. They are all beautiful and so individual. I really like that. My favorite is the birdhouse. I have a "thing" for birdhouses. jjpeapea, your teacup cards are really cute. I love the papers you used. I'm always looking for cute teacup papers and embellishments for scrapping our Cousin Camp tea parties. Your cards would make perfect invitations. Love the soft pinks. I posted these on scrapnnana's challenge thread but will post them again here. I am not sure I like this size card. They are really cute, but for a simple birthday or get well, there just seems to be too much room to write. I need to find a quote to put inside these to take up some of that room, I guess. Anyone else find them a bit too big? Fall Fox Thinking of You

I had a vague notion of what the sheetload of cards was about. I've just gone and downloaded on her pdfs to use for card sketches. I'm going to have to get my butt in gear and play along. I've been getting supplies, but not doing much creating!

I will post next months on October 6th and combine it with the Cardtober challenge.

I just watched her video with card submissions. I didn’t realize Call Me (Crafty) Al is local to me. Gluestick Girl from SC is even closer. She live a few streets over from me. I don’t know why I always find it amazing to find people online who live near me.

That's cool lisacharlotte. I always wonder who lives in North Phoenix on the board. It would be fun to get together.

I posted these on scrapnnana 's challenge thread but will post them again here. I am not sure I like this size card. They are really cute, but for a simple birthday or get well, there just seems to be too much room to write. I need to find a quote to put inside these to take up some of that room, I guess. Anyonelse find them a bit too big? Fall Fox Thinking of You I think it’s a size that sometimes works well, but it can also seem awkward, like a teenage boy that has grown too tall for his clothes. I really like yours, and all of the cards shown in this thread, but it’s not a size of card that most of us are used to. Overall, I think that A2 and A7 sized cards are more visually appealing in their proportions, but slimline cards are a fun variation. I like the mini slim size better because the proportions seem more pleasing to me than the full sized slim, but I’ll be posting a full slimline card as one of my CARDtober samples. However, that isn’t a hint. My first challenge has nothing to do with slimline cards. p.s. A belated Happy Birthday, azcrafty!

I was over here looking at Cardtober samples for my Christmas cards. Found your sheetloads and subscribed. I chose an older sheetload design (I'm not a card maker so I need easy lol) but wanted to say thanks for the card sketches!
