nylene, you are on FIRE! Cousin camp pages are my favourite! And somehow this year, you managed to pull off a totally fun social distanced event. So glad you have the photos to scrap!

I love the VARIATIONS on this sketch! Ryann - I can imagine how long it took to piece those blocks together, choosing the pps, getting them lined up It looks amazing. grammadee, this is such a DYNAMIC layout, the star is perfect over the photo and I love how you angled your photos nylene - love what you did with the strips, really adding the shapes right into them linda - WOW again, the die cutting is great, and the quotes made me laugh! What an amazing memory you've made. justjac - you've really let the pps do their job here. The contrast of the blue/purple/black is wonderful! Mine started as a 2 pager, but I just don't put 3 photos on 2 pages! So...I squished it together in the centre and made both sides into a 1 pager. The diagonal on the left side, and the "overlay" star I turned into 3 rectangles around all the photos (I wanted to make a bridge, but that is...awkward...) And leaves as my shape! My paper is a "winter" collection from Simple Stories. I meant to grab my "fall" collections but grabbed "winter" by mistake - happy mistake! layout fall trip trap by kirstendrew, on Flickr

This is so pretty! I can't believe these are winter papers, looks perfect for Fall! How did you cut the rectangles? Thanks! I just took a rectangle of the cardstock, and cut "frames" with my trimmer, one inside the next. It's one reason I have the fiskars-style trimmer and not just bypass/guillotine trimmers. I like being able to cut out a frame.

This one was a little tougher to translate to TN size, but I think I captured the ‘essence’ of the sketch! 2020 Sketchtember #3
