Super Star - My sample is from Pinterest. I loved it so much that I essentially duplicated it. (the colors are much better IRL) If you are a one page scrapper, either side will work nicely. The twist is to use a primary element that is not a star. Balloons, hearts, circles, etc. 5 - points From Pinterest 11cca2594b58a9f48ae0da0d1171e026 by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr Mine IMG_4875 by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr

Cool sketch. So many shapes and patterns to play with on both pages. And your sample works perfectly with it, gramma.

Okay. I have chosen my photos and a collection with stars that will work with them. Even has a pp pattern that has those slanted stripes. But now I need a big star... gramma, you just HAD to get me on my silhouette, didn't you? Need to head out to the garden now, but I have enough to start a page kit for this one. Big star will go in later.

I really love both sketches. Maybe I can get something to work for me in my smaller size. Thanks for posting, and your pages are beautiful.

grammadee - Of course you need your Silhouette! Silly girl! nylene - It should be pretty easy to size it down - I hope.

okay - this one was TOUGH and my Cricut got quite the workout - but I did it. Just the second page (I'll tackle the first page on another layout) and my element (just in case you didn't recognise it) is the coronavirus. Photo is a downloaded meme...and I don't have the right adhesive for skinny things like this.

What an AWESOME Corona page, Linda! LOVE it! And I am struggling with a simple star & circle combo!

gramma Ooh I can see why you were drawn to this sketch - very fun! The swing photo fits the frame of that star perfectly! Really darling layouts! Linda Love your interpretation of the sketch! Really clever; and you can't go wrong with black, red and white!

gramma you nailed that sketch perfectly! I love it. Your color combo is gorgeous with your pictures! Linda I love your take on the sketch. So creative to cut a coronavirus. The colors are great too. Just a fun layout!

Mine is not as spectacular as Linda 's. But here ya go, gramma : Totally Awesome! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I let the patterned paper do the stripes for me. I almost didn't scrap these photos b/c it is so hard to see a kid through the mesh of a trampoline netting. But he called me out of the house to show me his tramp skills, and told me to "bring your camera!" so do you think he wants to see them in a scrapbook? I liked that this sketch and these papers allowed me to capture his energy even if the photos don't do justice to his energy.
POINTS: two pages created & shared (4). Sketchtember #3 (2) + twist(1) + bonus (5), #2 three pic's for Donna challenge (3), #12 big circle (1), #15 July 2020 (2), #17 Nuvo's (2), #30 star stickers (1), #31 & 32 (4), #35 summer album (2), #38 5x7 (1), #42 smiling (2), #55 love this guy (2), #60 masculine (2). Linda - great interpretation. And if you need glue for a skinny project you can pool some on a piece of scrap paper and use a q-tip or toothpick to apply it.

Linda I use mostly Art Glitter glue - but I don't think I've ever seen it in a store. I get it from Amazon. Tombow is available in stores though. The big thing for me is that I don't want it to run out under my paper. So I use the q-tip trick or transfer the glue into a small fine tip bottle. You can find those at JoAnns or Michaels or Hobby Lobby in the section where they keep quilling supplies.

Here is my take on sketch #3. I chose the left side to focus on, and turned it sideways. I paper pieced the top half of the background using 2" squares from various 6x6 paper pads. My intention was to do the two biggest sections this way, but it took a lot longer than expected to piece together! I used circles for the twist.

Ryann, I love the way you paper pieced your left side of the page. That is a great way to fill that spot. Love the soft colors and the tiny embellishments. Very pretty page. Linda, love, love, love your Corona Virus! I left love in the other thread. grammadee, gramma, and justjac, there is love for you in the gallery. Here is the left side of the page. I may get the right side done later in the month. Thanks for the sketch gramma. Genius Area
