I just received a newsletter from Stampin' Up!, and I thought this was really cool - during the 5 months April-August their average customer purchased twice as much twice as often (this applied to customer orders, not demonstrator orders). I think that's really encouraging. I hope this means that there's a renewed interest in stamping (and all things crafting) that will stick around for a while after the pandemic ends. Hopefully we will keep our current craft companies and even get new ones. Just a little positivity today Edited to add: This increase is globally - they are in Europe, Japan, and North America.

I added to their increase. I ordered all their ink pads and packs of cardstock. I'm trying to stock up my scraproom, just in case I'm locked in all winter.

I've noticed a lot of other companies, like The Stamp Market and Concord & 9th, are coming out with foam pads now. In fact, the owner of the Stamp Market used to work at SU and helped develop their foam ink pads. I've been stocking up a lot, too - too much! I've bought a lot during the Pandemic, from both SU and other companies. I'm going to have to take a break until Christmas.

No wonder I like the Stamp Market's ink pads so well, too. Actually, I like everything of the Stamp Market's. I can't wait for her new release tomorrow morning! I hear you on needing to take a break. After tomorrow, I need to quit for a bit. Famous last words! LOL

I think I ordered three of their Suites which is the paper, embellishments, stamps and the dies of one designer set. At the beginning of lock down I thought of every possible thing I could run out of. Including craft stuff. (not that there was a shortage in my house to begin with ).
This is great news for SU. I've always enjoyed their products.

I placed a big order with them in April and am still enjoying making cards and scrapbook pages with what I got, very classic looking designs. I also got the tall thin alphabet as well as the smaller version and it's just perfect for titles. I love their color palette, too. I placed one final order yesterday - for Honey Bee Stamps because they had a 20% off sale. That's it, no more until Christmas - well, maybe Black Friday if there are good deals...

This is great news for SU. I've always enjoyed their products. I just received the Poinsettia suite last week and can't wait to make cards with it. I'm also going to use it for gift toppers. I think their idea to create suites was really smart. Since the pandemic started I've run into shortages for puzzles and cross stitch supplies, things that I never thought would be a problem, so stocking up on stamps and paper, etc. doesn't seem too crazy an idea.
