I'm curious how everyone stores their memorabilia from vacations, etc. until you are ready to scrapbook those pages?

I use a Sterilite box or an Iris case - and put all the memorabilia, the printed photos once I print them, any supplies I bought specifically for the vacation album, and any journalling notes (I often email daily notes during the vacation to use for journalling) in it. That way it becomes my project box when I'm ready to scrap.

I usually have several pages planned before I get pictures printed, so the memorabilia just goes into a 12x5 x 12x5 baggie with the page kits.

I use zippy bags - like these and label them with my label maker. I have a ton of them from being subscribed to Citrus Twist and Studio Calico for a few years.

Janet, from RTS scrapbooking You Tube channel, put together sticker binders and embellishment composition notebooks. Find her video. I've done that and I LOVE it! Just a little ATG to stick them on and a little twist to get them off. I hate looking through bags! I've dramatically increased my work flow by simple flipping through pages quickly to find what I want. I have sticker binders for labels and embellishment stickers in color categories. Another binder for word stickers. I have 12 composition notebooks that are mostly organized by designer but I have 2 just for color categories. I love this system for cropping on the go. Just grab a couple of notebooks and I have so much a my finger tips.

If I'm honest, I usually misplace it and then find it after I've scrapped the event.

I have decorated pizza boxes for storage. I completely open them and paint both sides. When dry, I refold and deco the outside. I posted a pic in the gallery. I also revamp delivery boxes.

I store it in a bag I picked up somewhere along the trip until I print photos. Once I start printing photos I put them into page protectors roughly how I think they'll go in the album and add any ephemera into the page protector with the photos. This is the only way I've found that stops me forgetting about the ephemera.

I also have an 12x12 iris container that holds concert/theatre memorabilia. The zippy bags are great. I take them on trips too, to hold the memorabilia safely whilst I'm travelling. On big trips, I take more than one and divide them up by location. You can then just pop them into their storage at home and be done with it until you're ready to create your album.

I store photos and memorabilia in manila envelopes. I write the subject on the envelope, then cross it off when I use the contents. I can re-use the envelopes for years. I store them vertically in magazine holders.

I am old school about itineraries, documentation, etc, and when we travel, I take a 3 ring binder with a couple of pencil cases and some 9x12 business envelopes. I include journaling pages from the travel book I hope to create. Memorabilia go into the envelopes, and each evening I do some dated journaling and tuck that in with it.
When I get home, I can print the photos and then assemble my album fairly quickly. I find people have all kinds of questions right after we get home, and they want to see the photos, so I can just hand them the album and they can get an idea of the trip.
That said, I am TERRIBLE about getting rid of the stuff I don't use in the album. So I have it stuffed into various boxes and bins and nooks and crannies. One day I will throw it all away...

I use a gallon Ziploc bag for each day.
Dated. Sometimes location written too.
I bring a notepad, & each day write down anything I want to remember, then stick the note in with postcards, brochures, etc.

In a gallon size ziplock bags. Half of my closet, the top rack, is lined up with ziplock bags from past trip with memorabilia. I either have already scrapped the trip, and that is left over, and for what ever reason I can't part with it. Or it is waiting to be scrapped still. If I was really organized I would create a label for each bag, but instead I have to open each one to see what is in there to then figure out which trip it was for. If I was smart, I would add the dates in the bag as to when the trip was done, so I don't have to think back "was this 2012 or 2013?"

I usually just keep everything in a paper bag or something similar that I pick up on the trip. Sometimes it stays there forever because I decide not to make an album or I make a photo book. I keep maps in a separate box because I love maps and I think they’re fun to collect.

It depends on the purpose of the memorabilia. For stuff that is just going in project life, I slip it into the empty page protectors (or if too large, just between the pages) for that week. For something that will likely be a mini album, like a vacation, I will use one of the zipper pouches from studio calico to keep all of the memorabilia together. If I have an album or any product for the project I will also keep it all together until I'm ready to work on it. Once I'm ready to work on it, I have Alex drawers under my desk with 3 drawers devoted to in progress minis/projects. I will devote one of these drawers to the project and will keep everything in it until the album is complete.
I also keep a 12x12 zipper pouch from studio calico labeled with a metal rimmed tag for each year + large events/themes that holds memorabilia that didn't make it into my albums but I want to keep (either because I might go back and create something with it someday or because it's just something I think is worth of keeping but doesn't fit well in project life, like greeting cards or playbills). I have these lined up in a crate in my craft room closet.
