I picked this sketch from my Pinterest board and loved the four smaller photos for documenting my pictures that are very similar. My take on the sketch. I tend to stick really close to the original. The twist is to use something that’s been in your stash for over five years. If you don’t have anything that old use something you’ve had for awhile. It can be a paper, tool, embellishments, ribbon, etc. Give yourself an extra five points for the twist. On my layout I used vellum that is ancient and the little bird and flower rub ons that are from a Disney pack circa 2004!

Interesting sketch! Love your take on it, with the colourful butterflies against the muted colours.

Great sketch KelleeM. Your layout is very pretty. I love the soft look of it. Are your circles fabric? I love them.

Love the colors and the different texture in the two half circles.

Great sketch KelleeM. Your layout is very pretty. I love the soft look of it. Are your circles fabric? I love them. They’re vellum. I did a back stitch around them with floss.

I have had these puffy stickers in my stash for a few years. I've been struggling with how to use them. Now that I have tons of baseball pics to work with, I've been making them work. IMG_E2567 by disneydarling, on Flickr

Here’s mine. Four photos was a bit much for the size of my album, so I turned one to landscape on the left side. Oh, and I used *Mulberry Paper* which I guarantee has been in my stash for longer than 5 years! ! 2020 Sketchtember #7

This layout stayed a little closer to the sketch than some of my others. I did remove the strip from the background because on the smaller size it looked too busy. The background cardstock was bought on my way home to visit my mom, and she passed away in 2008, so I know it is older than 5 years. Bloom & Grow

Linda, I should always wait until you make your 8.5x11 page for each sketch before I even try. You do such a great job of making the sketch fit your photos. This #7 is great. I left love in the gallery for wendy crowe and ComplicatedLady.

nylene - thank you but I was looking at your layout and thinking you did a fabulous job adapting it to the smaller size. And it's such a pretty layout with the colours and diecuts and of course, that beautiful little girl

This layout is about one of our cats, Posey. She likes to pop herself up to look out the window like a groundhog. One of my nicknames for her is Nosey Posey. The twist is the blue patterned paper matting the photos. It's from an Allison Kreft collection with Echo Park from 2012. Oh, how I miss Hambly!

This sketch said "birthday" to me because of the contrasting fun shapes. I had to change my photo block to fit my photos, but the rest of the sketch worked well around them then! My "old" twist is the title: the "Showtime" is from an old set of phrase thickers, and the "17" are very very old thickers too. The edge punch I used also hasn't seen use in a long time! showtime 17 by kirstendrew, on Flickr

Here is my take on this challenge. That Scrapbook Sally string of fibre has been in my stash for at LEAST five years! I flipped the sketch on its side and used only two photos.

Here's my take, I flipped the sketch and still need to add journaling. I'm just not sure yet what I want to say about the way my mom creatively holds her hair back while she cooks lol. All the supplies were from 2011! I'm so glad to use these supplies! Oh Mama by Joyfulnana, on Flickr
