Someone asked yesterday on the board, "Where did the first week of September go?" I have no idea! But then, i was consumed with sketches, then with family, then with harvesting from the garden, so I might have missed something..
Anyway, our team leaders have reported their points totals for August. (I had dropped the ball and forgot to ask). Totals are both high. Seems there was alot of crafting and shopping going on...
I used to be a teacher, and I miss it, so excuse me if I give you a little academic exercise this morning:
Let's do a little math: Together, the DIVA's and the Joyful Scrappers claimed 13,633 points.
The Joyful Scrappers scored 6582 of them.... Who WON the month???
And we have a selfless DIVA team member who did not claim all the points that were available to be claimed for her work, because she felt claiming those points would be unfair. In fact this lady is the QUEEN of fairness and generosity.
Her team would like to nominate her for the "Dolly Parton award for honesty and selflessness in sensational scrapbooking".
